0:32 The dangers of sugar
0:45 Side effects of sugar consumption
10:05 How to recover after sugar consumption
15:28 Learn more about the dangerous effects of sugar!
Lets talk about the dangers of consuming sugar.
Here are a few commonly-known dangers of sugar consumption:
Weight gain
Dental decay
Fatty liver
High cholesterol
Acne
High blood pressure
Candida infections
Lowered immunity
However, sugar affects the body in deeper ways. Many people dont know that most diseases are metabolic diseases, and metabolic diseases are related to mitochondrial dysfunction.
A lot of things destroy the mitochondria, but sugar and foods that quickly turn into sugar, like carbohydrates, are at the top of the list.
The effects of sugar on the mitochondria in the cells can set your body up for a cascade of health issues.
How to improve your mitochondria:
1. Go on the ketogenic diet
2. Exercise (HIIT)
3. Try cold therapy
4. Do intermittent fasting
5. Try high-altitude training
6. Reduce stress
7. Get plenty of sleep
8. Avoid alcohol
9. Consume foods high in phytonutrients
10. Consume nutrient-dense foods

0:00 Introduction: Is carbonated water bad for you?
0:25 Carbonated water explained
0:50 Understanding carbon dioxide
2:57 Benefits of CO2
7:02 Learn more about the water you drink!
Lets talk about carbonated water. Water is carbonated by adding CO2. This makes it bubbly and slightly acidic.
The body needs CO2 for oxygen to be absorbed into the cells. You can even put your body in a hypoxic state (low oxygen state) by depriving your tissues of CO2.
Carbonated spas or baths are used in some places for people with circulatory problems or diabetic wounds. Its also used as a therapy for people after a stroke and to decrease the rate of amputation.
While I wasnt able to find research on the health benefits of carbonated water, I did find some parallel research on CO2. CO2 is a potent anti-tumor, anti-cancer, and anti-inflammatory gas.
One study found a significant increase in the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system by increasing CO2. The parasympathetic nervous system counters fight or flight mode and supports healing, digestion, and sleep.
CO2 is a key factor we cant ignore. You can increase your CO2 by breathing through your nose, especially while you sleep or exercise. Hot springs also have a significant amount of CO2. Its even used in certain skin creams.

0:00 Introduction: Is oatmeal healthy?
1:17 New information on oatmeal
7:00 Is eating breakfast healthy?
7:17 Learn more about the benefits of skipping breakfast!
Is oatmeal bad for you? Lets talk about it.
The small packets of flavored oatmeal contain a lot of sugar, and even though they may be marketed as healthytheyre not.
But what about unsweetened oatmeal?
Here are three things you might not know about unsweetened oatmeal:
1. Certain studies show a significant improvement in blood sugar and cholesterol. However, the control in one of these studies is white bread. The study also only showed an improvement in blood sugar right after the meal.
Part of the study referring to cholesterol was only on consuming beta-glucan, which is an isolated compound in oatmeal. In a different study, the participants all had diabetes, and they didnt see a change in their blood glucose levels.
2. Oats contain a type of gluten called avenin. This protein has been known to increase cytokines.
3. Oat products have often been treated with glyphosate. The World Health Organization classifies glyphosate as a carcinogen.
It may be beneficial to skip breakfast altogether and give intermittent fasting a try. If you do consume breakfast, eggs would be a healthier choice than oatmeal.

What Happens to Your Body When You Quit Sugar for 14 Days
0:00 Introduction: What would happen if you gave up sugar?
0:10 #1 Your face and midsection will change
0:52 #2 Improves eyes, brain, arteries, and kidneys
4:19 #3 Decreases urination at night
5:00 #4 More energy
6:35 #5 Cravings between meals go away
8:57 #6 Less stiffness, pain, and inflammation
9:57 #7 You'll lose weight
11:32 #8 Better skin
11:50 #9 Improves insulin resistance
Let's talk about what would happen if you gave up sugar for just two weeks.
1. Changes in your face and midsection
Your face would become slimmer, and you would lose weight in your midsection because your liver is releasing fat.
2. Improvements in your eyes, brain, arteries, and kidneys
You'll experience a lot of benefits and potential improvements in these four areas of the body when you cut out sugar.
3. Decreased urination at night
You'll get up less at night to urinate because water follows sugar. Consuming sugar triggers urination, especially at night.
4. More energy
Your body is forced to run on fat fuel instead of sugar fuel. Your body has more calories from stored fat to use as fuel, giving you more energy.
5. Cravings between meals go away
Your cravings and appetite will go away between meals because even though you're not eating, your body is satisfied by your own fat.
6. Less stiffness, pain, and inflammation
These issues can start to improve when you stop consuming sugar, and you may notice less of a need for certain medications.
7. Weight loss
You're going to lose water weight as well as actual fat. Many different health benefits also come with losing weight.
8. Better skin
You may notice improvements in your skin because of a drop in inflammation.
9. Improves insulin resistance
Insulin resistance is at the heart of many health conditions. But, when you give up sugar, you can start to improve insulin resistance.

Take 2 TABLESPOONS before Bed for Perfect Blood Sugars
0:00 Introduction: How to balance your blood sugar
0:27 Apple cider vinegar for blood sugar
2:50 What kind of apple cider vinegar should I take?
3:33 ACV for the dawn phenomenon
4:40 Learn about other things that help buffer spikes in blood sugar!
There are so many people with blood sugar issues. If youre not already, you should consider adding apple cider vinegar (ACV) into your diet.
There are things that can improve your blood sugar levels that go beyond keto and fasting, and apple cider vinegar is one of them.
The acetic acid in apple cider vinegar gives a very potent anti-glycemic effect, even if youre not doing keto. It can help buffer the food you eat to bring it lower on the glycemic index. This can help stabilize your blood sugar and insulin.
Any time you lower your glucose, youre going to reduce insulin. Reducing insulin will help you:
Decrease fat on your liver
Lose weight
Decrease hunger
Decrease cravings
As far as the best apple cider vinegar to take, I like Fairchilds Organic Apple Cider Vinegar.
If your blood sugar is high in the morning even though you didnt consume a lot of carbs the day before, this is known as the dawn phenomenon. If you experience this issue, try taking two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar mixed into eight to twelve ounces of water before bed.
You can also try taking apple cider vinegar before your meal. Because apple cider is very acidic, drink it through a straw so its not exposed to your teeth.

Throughout history, many great thinkers, including Hippocrates and Plato, have even had positive things to say about fasting.
Seven critical things you need to know about prolonged fasting (72 hours or longer):
1. Only drink water (2.5 liters), tea, and coffeeand take supplements (electrolytes, B vitamins, vitamin D, and vitamin C)
2. Take electrolytes (including sea salt)

THIS is the Most Powerful ADAPTOGEN in The World - How it Works and Why it's THE BEST

0:48 The most powerful adaptogen in the world
1:28 How ashwagandha works
3:07 Cortisol explained
7:07 Ashwagandha benefits
8:58 Check out this important video on stress!
Today, were going to talk about the most powerful adaptogen in the world: ashwagandha.
An adaptogen is something that helps you cope with stress and helps your body adjust to its environment.
Ashwagandha has a lot of benefits, but were going to focus on how it can help you adapt to stress. Ashwagandha has helped many people feel calmer and like they can cope with stress easier.
Ashwagandha helps control the HPA axis, which is the communication between your hypothalamus, pituitary, and adrenals. These hormonal communications help the body adapt to a stress response.
Once the communication is complete, the hormone is supposed to lower back down, but with chronic stress, cortisol never goes back down and is chronically elevated. Ashwagandha can help reduce these hormones.
Cortisol isnt a bad thing. It doesnt cause stressits adapting your body to a stress state. But, its not healthy to have your body in a state of chronic stress and chronically elevated cortisol.
Potential benefits of ashwagandha:
It helps lower cortisol in the AM
It helps lower DHEA (a precursor to cortisol) in the AM
It helps raise testosterone (stress lowers testosterone)
It helps increase endurance
It helps increase strength (stress may cause weakness)
It has shown significant improvements in emotions

The Incredible Impact of Eating Eggs Daily Dr. Berg's Top Reasons for Doing It
0:00 Introduction: Why I eat 4 eggs daily
0:27 The nutrition in eggs
2:50 Free-range eggs vs. cage-free eggs vs. pasture-raised eggs
5:48 Egg benefits
10:45 How do you cook an egg to maximize nutrition?
11:34 Check out my video on the cholesterol in eggs!
Today, I'm going to tell you why I eat four eggs a day and why you should do this too.
The nutrition of an egg is determined by how the chicken is raised and by what it's fed. I recommend getting organic pasture-raised eggs. Getting your eggs from a farmer's market is a great idea or even raising your own chickens for eggs.
It's important to note that I do not eat eggs for breakfast. I eat them for a late lunch because I fast breakfast. It's also important to consume the whole egg vs. only egg whites.
Heating an egg can destroy some of the carotenoids. To maximize the nutrition of the eggs, it's great to have them poached or over-easy. If you like them scrambled, it's best to crack them inside of the pan and allow the whites to turn white before scrambling them.
If you're a small person, you may want to consume one or two eggs a day. If you're a larger person, you may want to consume three or four.
Health benefits of eggs:
Eggs are a great source of protein
Eggs contain choline
Eggs contain lecithin
Eggs have vitamin K2, vitamin D, vitamin E, and vitamin A
Eggs are rich in omega-3 fatty acids
Eggs are loaded with B vitamins
Eggs have minerals and trace minerals
Eggs contain carotenoids
