If there’s one thing worse than COVID-19, it’s the endless “scare campaigns†– not just from politicians and medical bureaucrats, but from certain “experts†on TV, according to Sky News host Rowan Dean.
Discussing the matter Sky News host Rita Panahi pointed to one “such expert†Bill Bowtell, who together with the ABC’s Norman Swan is “one of the leading self-promoters†when it comes to talking about COVID.
“Hardly a day goes by without Bowtell popping up on television – especially on ABC – castigating the government for its response to the pandemic,†she said.
“If only someone could come up with a vaccination against hypocrisy and humbugging,†Mr Dean said.
