Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier, commander of 11th Space Warning Squadron at Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado, was fired on Friday for comments he made during this CD Media podcast about his new book, ‘Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military’.
“This decision was based on public comments made by Lt. Col. Lohmeier in a recent podcast,†a Space Force spokesperson said. “Lt. Gen. Whiting has initiated a Command Directed Investigation on whether these comments constituted prohibited partisan political activity.â€
Lohmeier told Military.com he had consulted with his chain of command, public affairs and legal counsel about his plans to publish a book and its contents.
“My intent never has been to engage in partisan politics. I have written a book about a particular political ideology (Marxism) in the hope that our Defense Department might return to being politically non-partisan in the future as it has honorably done throughout history,†he said. “The diversity, inclusion and…the trainings we are receiving in the military … is rooted in critical race theory, which is rooted in Marxism.â€
Lohmeier was asked to give his troops extremism training and was given a 70-page booklet, which opened with the January 6th Capitol Riot. “That context painted the discussion and all the talking points…The most radical forms of extremism that we’re seeing in our country and in the Service had nothing to do with the examples they gave…
“The diversity and inclusion industry is all about punishing people for their implicit and unconscious biases, as if we can be judged by biases that we, ourselves can’t even perceive that we have. It’s a completely unfair standard and yes, there’s an agenda behind that.â€
Service members are made to read ‘So You Want to Talk About Race’ by Ijeoma Oluo. “There are suggestions in there about how the reader ought to be donating their free money, which politicians they ought to be supporting, which social justice initiatives they ought to be supporting and the United States is referred to as a ‘white supremacist nation’ all throughout the entire work. It has no place in the military, whatsoever.â€
Host L Todd Wood asks Lohmeier, “Who’s behind all of this? That’s been the big enigma for me.â€
He responds, “I have some thoughts but they’re just my thoughts. There’s nothing more – personal view – that Xi Jinping would like to see more than to win a war against the United States without shedding blood and to first, assume their position as a regional hegemon in the Asia-Pacific region and then assume their place on the world stage, America having lost its brilliance, as we worry about Critical Race Theory, for example.
“And they feed that on social media, constantly. They have armies of bots. Xi Jinping would love nothing more than to watch us rot like this from the inside, because it means that there will be no great power competition between the United States and China – there will not need to be…â€
While the CCP might be happy about these developments, the fact remains that our military is being sabotaged from the top down and we are in extreme peril.
