1 01:00:02,120 --> 01:00:07,120 The world to her that has built me and polluted, to the oppressive city. 00:26.120 --> 00:31.120 It is one of the most famous cities in the world, but San Francisco may be one of the dirtiest too. 00:31.120 --> 00:39.120 An NBCBerry investigation reveals a dangerous concoction of drug needles, garbage, and even feces lining the streets of downtown. 00:39.120 --> 00:47.120 Investigative reporter, Bhagat Shaban, explains why parts of the city are now being compared to some of the worst slums, not just in the country, but in the world. 00:49.120 --> 00:55.120 Terry and Jess, parts of the city aren't just disgusting. These diseased streets can be dangerous. 00:55.120 --> 01:02.120 Millions of your tax dollars are spent cleaning them. So why does one of the richest cities in the world have neighborhoods that resemble some of the poorest? 01:02.120 --> 01:04.120 Tonight, we investigate. 01:25.120 --> 01:53.120 San Francisco's tourism is taking a hit. And you know why? 01:53.120 --> 02:00.120 Because they get a really bad homeless problem. Really bad. I mean, it was bad when I lived there a long time ago, and it's a really bad now. 02:00.120 --> 02:04.120 So bad that many businesses are demanding action from city officials. 02:04.120 --> 02:10.120 By the holiday vibe, San Francisco's Union Square is competing with a problem that's gone from bad to worse. 02:10.120 --> 02:15.120 A business owner telling us the homeless situation is out of control. 02:15.120 --> 02:20.120 This is a shocking video of what's going on in one of the busiest BART stations in the Bay Area. 02:20.120 --> 02:26.120 Several junkies blatantly shooting up out in the open. Others slumped along the corridors. 02:26.120 --> 02:35.120 This is San Francisco's Civic Center station. We sent KPIX5's Wilson Walker to ask the mayor and BART, what are you doing about all of this? 02:35.120 --> 02:44.120 Walls in broad daylight. The San Francisco neighborhood where crime is getting so bad, people are scared to step outside their own homes. 02:44.120 --> 02:50.120 We have been reporting on the decline of San Francisco, the nation's most liberal major city. 02:50.120 --> 02:55.120 As you may know, the city by the bay is a sanctuary place defying federal immigration law. 02:55.120 --> 02:59.120 It is also a town where permissive social policies rule. 03:00.120 --> 03:06.120 The result has been a sharp uptick in crime and a homeless situation that is now out of control. 03:06.120 --> 03:15.120 The city hit with an epidemic of car break-ins. They have jumped 26% in San Francisco this year, despite the police chief's focus on prevention. 03:15.120 --> 03:20.120 KPIX5's Sharon Chin is at Fisherman's Wharf, one of the hardest-hit neighborhoods. 03:22.120 --> 03:27.120 San Francisco saw 91 car burglaries every day in a single month this fall. 03:27.120 --> 03:30.120 Justin Harris has been a victim, recently a friend was too. 03:30.120 --> 03:34.120 It was that night, like seven cars were broken into at the same time. 03:34.120 --> 03:44.120 In the year ending in October, car burglaries jumped from more than 25,000 to nearly 31,000, according to new numbers from the San Francisco Police Department. 03:44.120 --> 03:48.120 Three points tonight about woe unto the filthy city. 03:48.120 --> 03:56.120 Point number one is dung. Point number two is drugs. And point number three is dogs. 03:56.120 --> 04:02.120 Now, it would be sodomites, but I was trying to have the same letter, like a Pastor Jimenez style. 04:02.120 --> 04:06.120 You know, dung, drugs, and dogs. All right? 04:06.120 --> 04:13.120 So point number one is dung. If you would look down at your Bible in Deuteronomy chapter 23, look at verse 12. 04:13.120 --> 04:22.120 The Bible reads, Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad, and thou shalt have a paddle upon thy weapon. 04:22.120 --> 04:31.120 And it shall be when thou will ease thyself abroad, that thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee. 04:31.120 --> 04:39.120 For the Lord thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee. 04:39.120 --> 04:46.120 Therefore, shall thy camp be holy, that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee. 04:46.120 --> 04:52.120 Let me just guarantee you one thing. God has departed from San Francisco, California. 04:52.120 --> 04:56.120 God has forsaken that city. You say, well, how do you know that, Pastor Anderson? 04:56.120 --> 05:05.120 Because the Bible talks about the fact that when God is with you and he walks amongst your camp and walks in your area, 05:05.120 --> 05:10.120 if he finds something unclean there, there's a good chance that he could turn away from that, right? 05:11.120 --> 05:19.120 Because it says here, thy camp shall be holy, at the end of verse 14, that he see no unclean thing in thee and turn away from thee. 05:19.120 --> 05:24.120 And what unclean thing is he specifically talking about here? He's talking about human waste. 05:24.120 --> 05:29.120 He's talking about excrement, okay? He's talking about people using the bathroom all over the place. 05:29.120 --> 05:35.120 He's saying, look, God doesn't want to see that in the camp, and if he does see that, he might just leave. 05:35.120 --> 05:38.120 He doesn't want to step in that. He doesn't want to be around that. 05:38.120 --> 05:43.120 Now, I watched some stuff about San Francisco. I read a lot of news articles, 05:43.120 --> 05:51.120 and there was a news crew with just a mainstream news organization, and they decided to go on a walk through San Francisco. 05:51.120 --> 06:03.120 They walked over 153 blocks, so they went actually 20 miles of walking, just walking up and down the streets of a portion of San Francisco. 06:03.120 --> 06:09.120 They found trash on every single block, 153 blocks, trash in the streets. 06:09.120 --> 06:18.120 They found 303 piles of human excrement on a 20-mile walk. 06:18.120 --> 06:24.120 Think about that. That means that for every mile that they walked on average, there were 15. 06:24.120 --> 06:30.120 Can you imagine walking one mile and having 15 piles of human dung on the sidewalk? 06:30.120 --> 06:35.120 That's San Francisco, California tonight. Is that disgusting? It's wicked. 06:35.120 --> 06:44.120 303 piles of human waste and over 100 used hypodermic needles on the ground in that walk. 06:44.120 --> 06:53.120 So, again, if you break this down, I mean, every mile, they're finding at least, what, five hypodermic needles and 15 piles of dung, 06:53.120 --> 07:01.120 trash on every single block. In fact, now they're publishing maps of San Francisco that show you how to avoid the dung. 07:01.120 --> 07:11.120 That's the map. That's where all the people think. That's a dark puddle of where so many people on the street in that area. 07:11.120 --> 07:12.120 See, that's... 07:12.120 --> 07:19.120 And I don't even know how they clean that up. I mean, what do they do? They scrape it, hose the street down. Are they creating jobs? 07:19.120 --> 07:24.120 Let's look at it on the positive side. Maybe those homeless people are creating jobs. 07:24.120 --> 07:37.120 There's so many people in San Francisco on the street. My friend Jake Shields got a photo of this guy taking right in front of him, just spraying it right into the street from the sidewalk into the street. 07:37.120 --> 07:39.120 I don't know what... 07:39.120 --> 07:41.120 And they just do it in front of everybody. 07:41.120 --> 07:55.120 In fact, there's even an app for your smartphone that tells you how to avoid the dung in the streets so that you can try to steer around the worst concentrations of feces. 07:55.120 --> 08:01.120 Stuffed with these disposed needles, you can get HIV, hepatitis C, hepatitis B. 08:01.120 --> 08:05.120 Dr. Lee Riley is an infectious disease expert at UC Berkeley. 08:05.120 --> 08:12.120 The fecal matter could possibly get into air, and if you happen to inhale that, it can also go into your intestine. 08:12.120 --> 08:24.120 Which can be deadly, especially for children. Dr. Riley has researched some of the dirtiest slums in the world, but believes contamination levels in parts of San Francisco may now be even worse. 08:24.120 --> 08:31.120 Much higher than what we see in places like Brazil or Kenya or India. 08:31.120 --> 08:36.120 A new map shows just how dirty the streets of San Francisco are becoming. 08:36.120 --> 08:42.120 The map shows all the locations where human waste have been reported on San Francisco streets over the last eight years. 08:42.120 --> 08:46.120 So take a look and you'll see it's pretty disgusting to look at. 08:46.120 --> 08:54.120 Well, it kind of makes the point, right? We've had more than 118,000 instances of human waste reported to the city. 08:54.120 --> 08:59.120 That includes an all-time high of more than 28,000 cases just last year. 08:59.120 --> 09:02.120 The map was put together by the data company, the open book. 09:02.120 --> 09:09.120 The neighborhoods with the most cases include the Tenderloin, South of Market, Mission District, Portrayor Hill, and the Financial District. 09:09.120 --> 09:13.120 I've never, like, winced looking at a graphic. Like, where you're like, get out of the map. 09:13.120 --> 09:15.120 Not a piece of paper. 09:15.120 --> 09:19.120 Who are all these people that are just using the restroom all over the street? 09:19.120 --> 09:24.120 Well, most of them are drug addicted, or drunk, or both. 09:25.120 --> 09:35.120 Well, the democratic stronghold of San Francisco has become, well, especially in downtown, a festering pile of garbage, feces, and drug needles. 09:35.120 --> 09:41.120 So this is a sanctuary city, is it? Well, here's a local deli owner. He's fed up. 09:41.120 --> 09:45.120 It's filthy. It's disgusting. 09:45.120 --> 09:53.120 Yesterday we taped somebody just on the side of my building peeing on my restaurant in broad daylight. 09:53.120 --> 10:00.120 I actually have pictures of people shooting up in the street. It's absolute mayhem at this point. It's completely out of control. 10:02.120 --> 10:06.120 Hey! I'm killing you, okay? I'm killing you. 10:07.120 --> 10:12.120 She, she, she humble. Every day. 10:14.120 --> 10:16.120 The window. 10:16.120 --> 10:17.120 You smell something? 10:17.120 --> 10:18.120 Yes. Every day. 10:18.120 --> 10:20.120 You have to clean it up. 10:20.120 --> 10:21.120 Yes. 10:22.120 --> 10:32.120 In the shadow of the West LA skyline, tucked under the 405 at Venice Boulevard, is a stretch of sidewalk some 40 people call home. 10:32.120 --> 10:45.120 At least once a week, the LAPD orders them out, blocks off the area, and an army of sanitation workers moves in, picking up used needles, bottles of urine, and mountains of garbage. 10:45.120 --> 10:53.120 They sanitize the sidewalk and then leave. But within minutes, people are back, rebuilding their life under the 405. 10:53.120 --> 10:59.120 The sidewalk is again littered with the hazardous byproducts of life on the streets. 10:59.120 --> 11:07.120 And worse because of this too. The homeless routinely leave their encampment to urinate on the streets of the neighborhood. 11:07.120 --> 11:12.120 And they defecate on the residential streets where children play. 11:12.120 --> 11:21.120 When sanitation workers do their cleanups, they stay inside the yellow tape, ignoring piles of human waste just a few feet away. 11:23.120 --> 11:28.120 Now look, you say, oh how dare you get on the homeless people. They're just a little down on their luck. Oh really? 11:28.120 --> 11:31.120 This is just a good place to hang out. 11:31.120 --> 11:33.120 Like many, these two come here from out of town. 11:33.120 --> 11:35.120 Do you like the lifestyle? 11:35.120 --> 11:37.120 Of course I do. Of course I do. 11:37.120 --> 11:39.120 Of course I do. 11:39.120 --> 11:44.120 As you just heard, they love the freedom of not having to follow the rules. 11:44.120 --> 11:46.120 Living out here by choice. 11:46.120 --> 11:47.120 Oh 100%. 11:47.120 --> 11:48.120 Oh 100%. 11:48.120 --> 11:50.120 You're living out here by choice. 11:50.120 --> 11:51.120 Oh 100%. 11:51.120 --> 11:59.120 We met Dylan Brumley rummaging through the trash here in search of something to eat. And we saw him picking up a dirty needle. 11:59.120 --> 12:00.120 Were you going to use that needle? 12:00.120 --> 12:01.120 Yes. 12:09.120 --> 12:26.120 So why the Bay Area? Why are there so many homeless people here? Is it the weather? Is it our culture? 12:26.120 --> 12:33.120 There are some who say that has something to do with it. Former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown talked to us recently on the culture. Here's what he told us. 12:33.120 --> 12:46.120 They are in other locations and there's no doubt people tell them exactly how much better off you are if you are in need in San Francisco versus some other place. 12:46.120 --> 12:58.120 And so they will migrate to San Francisco for that purpose. And we are a very generous city. Very generous city. Very generous city. Very generous city. Very generous city. 12:59.120 --> 13:08.120 San Francisco is generous. It offers street people food stamps, free shelter, train tickets and $70 a month in cash. 13:08.120 --> 13:23.120 I'm here to tell you something. Giving money indiscriminately to people who refuse to work is not making their lives any better. All you're doing is destroying our city and turning it into a cesspool. All you're doing. 13:23.120 --> 13:43.120 Here's a San Francisco Chronicle article. If you would turn to Mark, Chapter 9, the San Francisco Chronicle, main newspaper there, they say that San Francisco has doubled the money that they spend on homelessness to more than $300 million a year they spend on homelessness. 13:43.120 --> 13:45.120 $300 million. 13:46.120 --> 14:00.120 Honestly, after being out here for a long time, I really believe that like 80% of the people are out here because they want to be. Because either it's their choice to live the way they're living or because of drug abuse, that's what they're choosing. 14:02.120 --> 14:05.120 I think zero tolerance is the direction we need to go. 14:05.120 --> 14:16.120 And San Francisco spends hundreds of millions of dollars every year trying to help a critic say what's really needed isn't more money, but a whole different approach, but a whole different approach. 14:16.120 --> 14:32.120 The Bible says in verse number seven for yourselves know how you ought to follow us, but we behave not ourselves disorderly among you, but wrought with labor and travel night and day that we might not be chargeable to any of you. 14:32.120 --> 14:38.120 Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an example unto you to follow us. 14:38.120 --> 14:44.120 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you that if any would not work, neither should he eat. 14:44.120 --> 14:50.120 For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busy bodies. 14:50.120 --> 14:58.120 Now, them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ that with quietness, they work and eat their own bread. 14:58.120 --> 15:06.120 So this church had a problem with people, men who wouldn't work, men who would not work at all. 15:06.120 --> 15:10.120 And Paul saying, if any will not work, neither should he eat. 15:11.120 --> 15:21.120 The Bible says, okay, in Abel's religion, not Cain's religion, in Abel's religion, the Bible says that if any man will not work, neither should he eat. 15:22.120 --> 15:29.120 But they don't want to work. They want to do drugs. They want to get drunk. They want to lay in the street. 15:29.120 --> 15:36.120 They have chosen that lifestyle. Ninety nine percent of the time, they choose to live that life. 15:36.120 --> 15:43.120 I'm sick of this politically correct garbage that won't call out the homelessness for what it is, laziness. 15:43.120 --> 15:46.120 And if a man won't work, he shouldn't eat. 15:46.120 --> 15:51.120 We have a major homelessness epidemic right now in the United States of America. 15:53.120 --> 16:15.120 We've contacted the police a few times over the last few months just about the fact that we're sick and tired of our streets, our parks, everything just being infested with able bodied young people who are living a homeless derelict lifestyle, harassing us. 16:16.120 --> 16:17.120 And stinking up the joint. 16:19.120 --> 16:22.120 The police department said, here's who's to blame, because they don't want to take the blame. 16:23.120 --> 16:25.120 The government doesn't want to take the blame, right? 16:25.120 --> 16:29.120 So they said, it's the churches and the libtard college students. 16:29.120 --> 16:39.120 That's who's to blame, because they said the churches are just giving them all indiscriminately free food, showers, clothing. 16:39.120 --> 16:44.120 They just give them everything and they have no incentive to work at all. 16:45.120 --> 16:46.120 No incentive to work. 16:46.120 --> 16:53.120 And then every year when the college students show up, the bums hit them up for money and they just indiscriminately give them money. 16:53.120 --> 16:54.120 Give them money. 16:54.120 --> 16:56.120 Give them whatever they need. 16:56.120 --> 16:58.120 The churches are doing the same thing. 16:58.120 --> 16:59.120 Hey, what's up, guys? 16:59.120 --> 17:01.120 Sergio Jones here. 17:01.120 --> 17:03.120 We're out here passing out sandwiches. 17:03.120 --> 17:04.120 111 degrees out. 17:04.120 --> 17:06.120 Passing out water. 17:06.120 --> 17:07.120 Give it back to the homeless. 17:07.120 --> 17:08.120 Give it back to the homeless. 17:08.120 --> 17:09.120 Give it back to the homeless. 17:09.120 --> 17:10.120 Give it back to the homeless. 17:14.120 --> 17:16.120 That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. 17:16.120 --> 17:18.120 Give it back to the homeless. 17:18.120 --> 17:21.120 He said, please, this is what the policeman said to us. 17:21.120 --> 17:23.120 Please, never give them any money. 17:23.120 --> 17:25.120 Never give them any food. 17:25.120 --> 17:27.120 Don't give them anything. 17:27.120 --> 17:31.120 Because they must have an incentive to go to work. 17:32.120 --> 17:36.120 55% say they've been homeless for a decade or more. 17:36.120 --> 17:39.120 These people aren't exactly trying to change, are they? 17:39.120 --> 17:43.120 55% say, I've been homeless for more than a decade. 17:49.120 --> 17:55.120 Policies that the government is enforcing and promoting is the problem with homelessness. 17:55.120 --> 18:01.120 The more you give homeless people to try and help them, the byproduct of that is more homeless people. 18:01.120 --> 18:03.120 And more people trying to take advantage of this. 18:03.120 --> 18:08.120 And probably more businesses that are nonprofit trying to help popping up. 18:08.120 --> 18:13.120 And their whole intention is to keep more people in this cycle because they're getting money for it. 18:13.120 --> 18:20.120 At some point, these people have to realize you just can't be only nice and only try and help, which you should. 18:20.120 --> 18:22.120 But there has to be consequences. 18:22.120 --> 18:23.120 Has to. 18:23.120 --> 18:28.120 The Tenderloin has long been viewed as San Francisco's armpit. 18:28.120 --> 18:32.120 Drug dealing and drunks, prostitution, the homeless and mentally ill. 18:32.120 --> 18:41.120 More than 30 years later, the downtrodden still line up for free meals at St. Anthony's Dining Hall in the heart of the Tenderloin. 18:41.120 --> 18:44.120 They serve 2500 meals a day. 18:44.120 --> 18:52.120 Gary Kamiya blames the nonprofits who are providing services to residents like the man who goes by Dirty Red. 18:52.120 --> 18:57.120 What the nonprofits want to do is maintain their stake here. 18:57.120 --> 19:00.120 This is where they have their their structures. 19:00.120 --> 19:08.120 They own or lease dozens of buildings and thousands of people are housed and supported here. 19:08.120 --> 19:09.120 They're being part of the solution. 19:09.120 --> 19:12.120 But ironically, they're also part of the problem. 19:12.120 --> 19:18.120 The city is very low to step in and say, let's sweep this all away. 19:18.120 --> 19:20.120 Let's move it somewhere else. 19:20.120 --> 19:32.120 In his recent book, Cool Gray City of Love, he blames progressive forces and nonprofits for impeding progress and creating a museum of depravity in the Tenderloin. 19:32.120 --> 19:33.120 And you know what? 19:33.120 --> 19:42.120 When I drive by these people and when they come here to the church, able bodied young men and ask me for food and money, you know what I tell them? 19:42.120 --> 19:45.120 Get a job, you lazy jerk. 19:45.120 --> 19:47.120 You lazy jerk, get a job. 19:47.120 --> 19:50.120 You're disgusting me by refusing to work. 19:50.120 --> 19:54.120 In fact, one of these lazy jerk types is sitting in the auditorium right now. 19:54.120 --> 20:03.120 This little punk here, this 22 year old punk who's been sitting outside our church all week and he's told by the staff to leave over and over again. 20:03.120 --> 20:07.120 No plans to get a job, no plans to do anything with his life. 20:07.120 --> 20:10.120 Just lazy sitting on his rear end. 20:10.120 --> 20:13.120 And we told him, hey, we don't want you loitering and sitting around here. 20:13.120 --> 20:16.120 He's like, oh, I'm reading my Bible and people give me money. 20:16.120 --> 20:17.120 Well, you know what? 20:17.120 --> 20:22.120 People need to stop giving their money to lazy punks sitting around for any reason. 20:22.120 --> 20:23.120 And you know what? 20:23.120 --> 20:35.120 If people would stop giving money to these panhandlers on the intersection that are 25 years old, able bodied, when everybody's hiring right now, then maybe they'd stop standing out there. 20:35.120 --> 20:36.120 Maybe they'd do something with their life. 20:36.120 --> 20:38.120 Maybe we could clean this city up. 20:38.120 --> 20:45.120 Instead of everywhere we go in Tempe, it's an epidemic of homeless, lazy, derelicts. 20:45.120 --> 20:47.120 And they need to go to work. 20:47.120 --> 20:48.120 And somebody needs to tell them the truth. 20:48.120 --> 20:55.120 And somebody needs to preach them the gospel of Jesus Christ and then teach them to observe all things that Christ commanded. 20:55.120 --> 21:04.120 Hypocrites, especially a hypocrite, is going to sit on his butt and read the Bible when the Bible said six days shalt thou labor. 21:04.120 --> 21:10.120 And look, I'm all for helping people who legitimately need help. 21:10.120 --> 21:12.120 But people need to go to work. 21:12.120 --> 21:14.120 And if they won't work, then neither should they eat. 21:14.120 --> 21:15.120 That's what the Bible says. 21:15.120 --> 21:18.120 And I don't care if that's not popular. 21:18.120 --> 21:20.120 I don't care how many hateful emails I get. 21:20.120 --> 21:23.120 You can get up and walk out and say, well, I'm never coming back to this church. 21:23.120 --> 21:25.120 This church isn't compassionate. 21:25.120 --> 21:29.120 Well, don't let the door hit you on your way out because I'm here to preach the word of God. 21:29.120 --> 21:32.120 And the word of God says six days shalt thou labor. 21:32.120 --> 21:35.120 And the word of God says you're wicked if you're slothful. 21:36.120 --> 21:46.120 And the word of God says to work with your own hands so that you'll have to give to people that actually need it, not to give to the lazy and give to the wicked. 21:46.120 --> 21:47.120 And you know what? 21:47.120 --> 21:55.120 Look, if everybody thought like us, we'd have this town cleaned up in one week, in a single week. 21:55.120 --> 22:04.120 If everybody rolled down the window and said, get a job, you lazy jerk, every time they drove by these people, if every single time we these people asked us for money, 22:04.120 --> 22:06.120 we said, no, you're a disgrace. 22:06.120 --> 22:07.120 Get a job. 22:07.120 --> 22:08.120 You're young. 22:08.120 --> 22:09.120 You're able bodied. 22:09.120 --> 22:10.120 You're able to work. 22:10.120 --> 22:11.120 Go get a job. 22:11.120 --> 22:12.120 You know what? 22:12.120 --> 22:16.120 It would clean it up so fast because just a few days of no handouts. 22:16.120 --> 22:22.120 And these people would be forced to do what they'd be lined up at the day labor place. 22:22.120 --> 22:25.120 Oh, the homelessness in America is out of control. 22:25.120 --> 22:27.120 What are the churches going to do about it? 22:27.120 --> 22:29.120 The church are doing too much. 22:29.120 --> 22:31.120 What's the government going to do about it? 22:31.120 --> 22:33.120 The government's doing too much. 22:33.120 --> 22:34.120 Why? 22:34.120 --> 22:41.120 Because if you feed the bears at the National Park, then they won't know how to get food on their own anymore. 22:41.120 --> 22:43.120 And you know what? 22:43.120 --> 22:46.120 It would do these people good to go a couple days without eating. 22:46.120 --> 22:50.120 You can go many days without eating and survive just fine. 22:50.120 --> 22:51.120 And you know what? 22:51.120 --> 22:56.120 I'll bet you they'll end up getting a job around day two or day three or day four of not eating. 22:56.120 --> 22:57.120 And you know what? 22:58.120 --> 23:03.120 They're going to be way happier because men who work are happy. 23:14.120 --> 23:15.120 They have self respect. 23:15.120 --> 23:17.120 They have dignity. 23:17.120 --> 23:23.120 But instead we have 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 year old homeless. 23:27.120 --> 23:29.120 Because I'm just embarrassed. 23:29.120 --> 23:32.120 I feel hurt on the inside. 23:32.120 --> 23:37.120 I don't feel like a man on the inside because I can't provide for my family. 23:37.120 --> 23:39.120 I can't provide for my kids. 23:39.120 --> 23:41.120 You can open this book and read the written word of God. 23:41.120 --> 23:45.120 And it's going to tell you that if a man won't work, neither should he eat. 23:45.120 --> 23:46.120 That's right. 23:46.120 --> 23:50.120 It's going to tell you six days, shout out labor. 23:50.120 --> 23:51.120 That's what it's going to tell you. 23:51.120 --> 23:55.120 It's not going to say part time, shout out labor. 23:55.120 --> 23:57.120 And then you wonder why you have a financial problem. 23:57.120 --> 24:00.120 If you have a financial problem, look to the Lord for the solution. 24:00.120 --> 24:04.120 And you know what he's going to say 99% of the time if you live in America? 24:04.120 --> 24:06.120 Go to work. 24:06.120 --> 24:10.120 You're either married and have children or you desire to be married and have children. 24:10.120 --> 24:12.120 And you are looking for work. 24:12.120 --> 24:18.120 You need to understand that while you are looking for work, looking for a job is your job. 24:18.120 --> 24:21.120 Looking for work is your work. 24:21.120 --> 24:24.120 Let me give you another hint for those of you that are needing a job. 24:24.120 --> 24:26.120 Take any job. 24:26.120 --> 24:29.120 Any job that is offered to you, take it. 24:29.120 --> 24:30.120 Oh, well that's not the job I want. 24:30.120 --> 24:31.120 It doesn't matter. Take it. 24:31.120 --> 24:32.120 You say why? 24:32.120 --> 24:34.120 Because notice what it says in Proverbs 14.23. 24:34.120 --> 24:38.120 In all labor there is profit. 24:38.120 --> 24:41.120 But the talk of the lips tendeth only to punery. 24:41.120 --> 24:44.120 People want to talk a lot about I've got this goal and I've got this goal. 24:44.120 --> 24:45.120 I'm going to do this. 24:45.120 --> 24:46.120 But you know what God says? 24:46.120 --> 24:48.120 Instead of talking a lot, just work. 24:48.120 --> 24:50.120 When they offer you a job, just work. 24:50.120 --> 24:52.120 You say, well, that's not the job I want. 24:52.120 --> 24:53.120 But that's the job that I was offered. 24:53.120 --> 24:54.120 Here's what I would do if I were you. 24:54.120 --> 24:58.120 Not only is this what I would do if I were you, this is what I've done in my life. 24:58.120 --> 24:59.120 I would just take that job. 24:59.120 --> 25:01.120 And then you know what I would do when I'm not working that job? 25:01.120 --> 25:03.120 I'd be looking for a better job. 25:03.120 --> 25:04.120 And here's what I believe. 25:04.120 --> 25:06.120 If you just work, God will bless you. 25:06.120 --> 25:12.120 If you just tell God, I'm willing to work, I'm willing to do any work, any type of work, digging ditches, whatever it is, 25:12.120 --> 25:14.120 I will do whatever you want me to do. 25:14.120 --> 25:15.120 Because here's what I know. 25:15.120 --> 25:17.120 In all labor there is profit. 25:17.120 --> 25:21.120 Then guess what you should be doing every day as you're looking for work? 25:21.120 --> 25:37.120 You should start looking for work at nine and you should look until about, you know, 1030 and then take a 15 minute break and then go to about 1230 and then take a 30 minute lunch break and then go to about two and take a 15 minute break and then go to about five and then be done for the day. 25:37.120 --> 25:43.120 And I promise you, if you wake up every day and spend eight hours looking for work, you will find work. 25:43.120 --> 25:45.120 You'll find a job. 25:45.120 --> 25:49.120 Take any job and do good at it and be the best employee. 25:49.120 --> 25:52.120 Do well and I believe that God will bless you. 25:52.120 --> 25:53.120 Go to work. 25:53.120 --> 25:57.120 Everybody needs to go to work from Adam all the way until now. 25:57.120 --> 26:03.120 You're supposed to go to work, man, and get a job and do something with your life. 26:03.120 --> 26:07.120 Not be one of these hypocrites, one of these lazy people. 26:07.120 --> 26:13.120 And then look, people give them money and they think like, oh, I think I'm earning my way to heaven right now. 26:13.120 --> 26:17.120 Here's five dollars for the drug addict who won't go to work. 26:18.120 --> 26:20.120 And pray tell me this. 26:20.120 --> 26:27.120 I'm sorry that they're homeless, but can they at least use the bathroom outside the camp and bury that which comes from them? 26:27.120 --> 26:32.120 You know, I know they don't want to obey the Bible when it said, look not on the wine when it's red. 26:32.120 --> 26:35.120 I know they don't want to obey the Bible when it said be sober. 26:35.120 --> 26:38.120 I know they don't want to obey the Bible when it says, flee fornication. 26:38.120 --> 26:44.120 But can they at least obey the part of the Bible that says that when you use the restroom to bury it, to put it somewhere else? 26:44.120 --> 26:47.120 No, no, they're just living in their own filth. 26:49.120 --> 26:56.120 And now bubbling at the surface is the long ignored cousin of addiction and homelessness, disease. 26:56.120 --> 27:01.120 We have not seen conditions for humans like this since medieval times. 27:01.120 --> 27:03.120 Period. And that's a fact. 27:03.120 --> 27:09.120 I'll show you. The buttresses that we use are urinate, bowel movement. 27:09.120 --> 27:12.120 There's nowhere around here that you use the bathroom. 27:12.120 --> 27:14.120 And that's hard on a person. You know what I mean? 27:14.120 --> 27:17.120 Especially if you got to walk around and find somewhere to take a crap. 27:17.120 --> 27:18.120 Come on now. 27:19.120 --> 27:22.120 The authorities know hygiene is an issue here. 27:22.120 --> 27:30.120 The county health department reported that its teams observed feces and urine on eight of ten sidewalks during a survey back in 2012. 27:33.120 --> 27:38.120 Street washes like this one have been instituted to help stop the spread of disease. 27:39.120 --> 27:46.120 If we don't power wash the streets, we end up with what we had years ago when we had a tuberculosis outbreak or hepatitis outbreak. 27:46.120 --> 27:56.120 In San Diego County, the combination of drugs and homelessness turned deadly last year when an outbreak of hepatitis A eventually killed 20 people. 27:56.120 --> 28:05.120 A county spokesperson said that the majority of people who contracted the disease during the outbreak had been homeless and or illicit drug users. 28:05.120 --> 28:10.120 Tuberculosis is exploding. Non-tuberculosis, acid-fast bacilli exploding. 28:10.120 --> 28:12.120 And then the rat-borne illnesses, plague and typhus. 28:12.120 --> 28:15.120 And then we had typhoid fever last week. 28:15.120 --> 28:17.120 Even I didn't think that. I missed that. 28:17.120 --> 28:21.120 I mean, so typhoid fever means, oh, now we have oral fecal contamination. 28:21.120 --> 28:23.120 So that's going to mean parasites and cholera. 28:23.120 --> 28:24.120 Here we go, everybody. 28:24.120 --> 28:27.120 Just everything you found in your history books, we got it. 28:27.120 --> 28:28.120 It's coming. 28:28.120 --> 28:38.120 He says that bubonic plague, black death, as it was known, which killed 25 million people over a five year period in the Middle Ages, is likely already present in L.A. 28:38.120 --> 28:42.120 It is caused by fleas biting rats and spreading it to humans. 28:42.120 --> 28:46.120 And an army of rats, millions strong, has overthrown Los Angeles. 28:46.120 --> 28:48.120 They have infested City Hall. 28:48.120 --> 28:54.120 The LAPD station in downtown L.A. was fined by the state for rodent infestation. 28:54.120 --> 28:56.120 Two employees have been infected by typhus. 28:56.120 --> 29:01.120 Cops have been diagnosed with typhoid fever, hepatitis A and staph. 29:01.120 --> 29:02.120 This is the end of it right here. 29:02.120 --> 29:07.120 We're really close to the end of whatever our existence on this earth is going to be. 29:07.120 --> 29:11.120 Homelessness is exploding here, up 16 percent in one year. 29:11.120 --> 29:15.120 Thirty six thousand wandering the streets of Los Angeles. 29:15.120 --> 29:18.120 Fifty nine thousand in L.A. County. 29:18.120 --> 29:23.120 Skid Row has been in L.A. for a long time, but not like this. 29:23.120 --> 29:25.120 Never like this. 29:25.120 --> 29:28.120 Here is something that I found from Southern California. 29:28.120 --> 29:32.120 Down the California coast in Orange County, a vast encampment of homeless people 29:32.120 --> 29:35.120 stretched for miles along a riverside bike path. 29:35.120 --> 29:39.120 When officials eventually cleared the encampment in March, 29:39.120 --> 29:46.120 they reportedly found more than 13,000 used syringes in this little homeless encampment. 29:46.120 --> 29:49.120 And over 5,000 pounds of human waste. 29:49.120 --> 29:51.120 Five thousand pounds of... 29:51.120 --> 29:55.120 Can you imagine living with five thousand pounds of human waste around? 29:55.120 --> 29:57.120 Leviticus chapter 10 and verse 8. 29:57.120 --> 30:00.120 The Bible reads, And the Lord spake unto Aaron, saying, 30:00.120 --> 30:04.120 Do not drink wine, nor strong drink, thou nor thy sons with thee, 30:04.120 --> 30:09.120 when thou go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die. 30:09.120 --> 30:11.120 It shall be a statute forever throughout your generation, 30:11.120 --> 30:15.120 and that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, 30:15.120 --> 30:20.120 and between unclean and clean, and that ye may teach the children of Israel 30:20.120 --> 30:25.120 all the statutes which the Lord has spoken of them by the hand of Moses. 30:25.120 --> 30:29.120 God's saying, look, you need to take heed unto my laws and my statutes. 30:29.120 --> 30:32.120 You need to teach the Bible to people so that they can put a difference 30:32.120 --> 30:34.120 between clean and unclean. 30:34.120 --> 30:37.120 Isn't it interesting that the same people who can't figure out the difference 30:37.120 --> 30:39.120 between male and female... 30:39.120 --> 30:42.120 Watch as Julian Castro explains that men who get pregnant 30:42.120 --> 30:45.120 have a moral right to taxpayer-funded abortions. 30:45.120 --> 30:51.120 Just because a woman or let's also not forget someone in the trans community, 30:51.120 --> 30:56.120 a trans female, a trans female, a trans female, a trans female, 30:56.120 --> 31:01.120 is poor doesn't mean they shouldn't have the right to exercise that right to choose. 31:01.120 --> 31:05.120 There are precisely zero people on planet Earth who fit that description. 31:05.120 --> 31:07.120 Not a single person, actually. 31:07.120 --> 31:09.120 There never have been any people like that. 31:09.120 --> 31:11.120 There never will be any people like that. 31:11.120 --> 31:13.120 Why? Because it's impossible. 31:13.120 --> 31:16.120 Biological men cannot get pregnant. 31:16.120 --> 31:18.120 Pretending otherwise is lunacy. 31:18.120 --> 31:21.120 They also can't tell the difference between clean and unclean, 31:21.120 --> 31:27.120 and they've turned their beautiful city into one large outdoor toilet. 31:27.120 --> 31:30.120 The salon owner, Bibo Saab, took yesterday. 31:30.120 --> 31:33.120 Unfortunately, it's not an uncommon scene in Union Square. 31:33.120 --> 31:38.120 Isn't it interesting that when a city is wicked and turns away from God, 31:38.120 --> 31:43.120 that they are covered in filth, literal filth, 31:43.120 --> 31:46.120 because they hate God's word, they hate God's laws. 31:46.120 --> 31:48.120 They don't want Leviticus 2013. 31:48.120 --> 31:51.120 Well, it turns out they don't want Deuteronomy 23 either, 31:51.120 --> 31:54.120 so they'll just defecate wherever they find a place. 31:54.120 --> 31:56.120 Feces. Yeah, okay. 31:56.120 --> 32:01.120 It's common knowledge that San Francisco has a serious homelessness problem. 32:01.120 --> 32:05.120 The street-bound population is estimated at between 6,000 and 10,000, 32:05.120 --> 32:07.120 depending on who you ask. 32:07.120 --> 32:12.120 One thing that is very visible is the human excrement all over the sidewalks. 32:12.120 --> 32:15.120 In fact, during a coding challenge at Zillow, 32:15.120 --> 32:22.120 one girl created a poop heat map that showed the hot poop spots in the city. 32:22.120 --> 32:26.120 Whether you're stepping out at the Googleplex or Twitter headquarters in the Tenderloin, 32:26.120 --> 32:29.120 chances are you should probably look down, 32:29.120 --> 32:34.120 because you're probably stepping in a huge pile of human excrement. 32:34.120 --> 32:36.120 Case in point, the subway. 32:36.120 --> 32:39.120 Now, normally you'd think I'd be complaining about subway service, 32:39.120 --> 32:42.120 but actually it's much, much worse. 32:42.120 --> 32:48.120 In July of 2012, an escalator at the Civic Center BART station grinded to a halt. 32:48.120 --> 32:50.120 When the work crews disassembled the device, 32:50.120 --> 32:56.120 they discovered an excess of human urine and fecal matter had gummed up the gears. 32:56.120 --> 33:00.120 It turns out so many homeless people were pooping on the escalator 33:00.120 --> 33:04.120 to watch the poop disappear when the grates would mash it down 33:04.120 --> 33:06.120 into the gears at the bottom. 33:06.120 --> 33:12.120 Now look, on the one hand I understand the inclination to take a poop on the escalator 33:12.120 --> 33:14.120 and watch it disappear, 33:14.120 --> 33:20.120 but at the same time I really don't want to live in a city with a public transit system 33:20.120 --> 33:26.120 that has to deal with mountains of human feces that are locking up the escalators, 33:26.120 --> 33:28.120 especially at rush hour. 33:28.120 --> 33:32.120 That is simply something I am not prepared to deal with. 33:35.120 --> 33:37.120 You know, God cares about cleanliness. 33:37.120 --> 33:40.120 God cares about sanitation. 33:40.120 --> 33:43.120 And San Francisco is a filthy place tonight. 33:47.120 --> 33:49.120 So point number one, dung. 33:49.120 --> 33:51.120 Point number two, drugs. 35:04.120 --> 35:06.120 Verse seven. 35:28.120 --> 35:32.120 That's where drugs and alcohol are going to take you, my friend, 35:32.120 --> 35:37.120 to a filthy, vomit-filled, dung-filled place where there's nothing clean 35:37.120 --> 35:39.120 and they're never going to show you that in a commercial, 35:39.120 --> 35:41.120 you're never going to see that in a magazine, 35:41.120 --> 35:44.120 but you'll find on YouTube, it's reality. 35:55.120 --> 35:59.120 But listen to what this doctor said, they stated the obvious in this article. 35:59.120 --> 36:02.120 People might be using heroin for 20 years, 36:02.120 --> 36:06.120 and the really pleasant part of it might have been the first few months, 36:06.120 --> 36:11.120 and then another 19 and a half years of a kind of misery. 36:12.120 --> 36:15.120 And you know what the verse that's perfect for that is where it says, 36:15.120 --> 36:18.120 by faith Moses, when he was come to years, 36:18.120 --> 36:21.120 refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, 36:21.120 --> 36:24.120 choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God 36:24.120 --> 36:28.120 than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. 36:28.120 --> 36:30.120 How long is a season typically, right? 36:30.120 --> 36:33.120 Three months, right? We have four seasons, three months each. 36:33.120 --> 36:37.120 This expert said they have about three months of enjoyment 36:37.120 --> 36:39.120 when they first get on the heroin. 36:39.120 --> 36:42.120 Three months are, quote, really nice, 36:42.120 --> 36:46.120 and then they have 19 and a half years of living hell. 36:46.120 --> 36:49.120 That's what 20 years on heroin looks like. 36:58.120 --> 37:01.120 The deputy said that there was a car accident here. 37:01.120 --> 37:04.120 You can obviously see that with the minivan here and the pickup truck, 37:04.120 --> 37:08.120 and they took one person out of the vehicle who they say had a thousand yards there, 37:08.120 --> 37:12.120 was out of it, and so now he's in the back of the ambulance here. 37:12.120 --> 37:17.120 He's my brother. We just lost our dad to an overdose. 37:17.120 --> 37:19.120 He's in the back of the ambulance here. 37:19.120 --> 37:22.120 He's my brother. We just lost our dad to an overdose. 37:22.120 --> 37:24.120 He's in the back of the ambulance here. 37:24.120 --> 37:26.120 He's in the back of the ambulance here. 37:26.120 --> 37:28.120 We just lost our dad to an overdose. 37:28.120 --> 37:30.120 You lost your dad to an overdose? 37:30.120 --> 37:31.120 Yes. 37:31.120 --> 37:34.120 I've tried my whole life to keep my family sober. 37:34.120 --> 37:36.120 Literally, I was so happy. 37:36.120 --> 37:39.120 I guess we should go back to this. 37:39.120 --> 37:41.120 What's it like to go through this? 37:41.120 --> 37:45.120 Hell. Hell. Every day it is hell. 37:45.120 --> 37:50.120 She overdosed in her car while her two-year-old daughter was in the backseat. 37:56.120 --> 38:00.120 In San Francisco, they actually give out free syringes to drug addicts, 38:00.120 --> 38:07.120 and it's being reported that they handed out a total of 5.8 million free syringes in 2018. 38:07.120 --> 38:12.120 They also tried to get the syringes back in order to prevent the spread of disease, 38:12.120 --> 38:15.120 but that hasn't been too successful. 38:15.120 --> 38:19.120 The drug addicts are now being treated in the hospital. 38:19.120 --> 38:21.120 They're being treated in the hospital. 38:21.120 --> 38:23.120 They're being treated in the hospital. 38:23.120 --> 38:25.120 They're being treated in the hospital. 38:25.120 --> 38:27.120 They're being treated in the hospital. 38:27.120 --> 38:29.120 They're being treated in the hospital. 38:29.120 --> 38:31.120 They're being treated in the hospital. 38:31.120 --> 38:33.120 They're being treated in the hospital. 38:33.120 --> 38:35.120 They're being treated in the hospital. 38:35.120 --> 38:37.120 They're being treated in the hospital. 38:37.120 --> 38:39.120 They're being treated in the hospital. 38:39.120 --> 38:41.120 They're being treated in the hospital. 38:41.120 --> 38:43.120 They're being treated in the hospital. 38:43.120 --> 38:45.120 They're being treated in the hospital. 38:45.120 --> 38:47.120 They're being treated in the hospital. 38:47.120 --> 38:49.120 They're being treated in the hospital. 38:49.120 --> 38:54.120 They're giving out each month 400,000 hypodermic needles to the people. 38:54.120 --> 38:58.120 So in a city that only has 871,000 people in it, 38:58.120 --> 39:04.120 the government's giving out for free over 400,000 hypodermic needles 39:04.120 --> 39:09.120 that are specifically to be used by drug users for shooting up heroin. 39:11.120 --> 39:13.120 The line starts here. 39:13.120 --> 39:16.120 We have the syringe collection. 39:16.120 --> 39:18.120 So they dump their used ones in here? 39:18.120 --> 39:21.120 Yep. They get dumped into the container here. 39:21.120 --> 39:24.120 Then we hand out the new syringes. 39:24.120 --> 39:27.120 On a typical Saturday, how many people come in here? 39:27.120 --> 39:31.120 Today we saw 149 people. 39:31.120 --> 39:32.120 Wow. 39:32.120 --> 39:37.120 And we did about 20, 21,000 today. 39:37.120 --> 39:38.120 So it's a little bit busier. 39:38.120 --> 39:39.120 21,000 syringes. 39:39.120 --> 39:42.120 Yeah. In two hours. In two hours. In two hours. 39:42.120 --> 39:47.120 The city of San Francisco is now hiring for one of the dirtiest jobs ever. 39:47.120 --> 39:50.120 Cleaning up used needles off the streets. 39:50.120 --> 39:55.120 Every month, us and our partners at the city collect 275,000 syringes. 39:55.120 --> 40:03.120 So that means that there are still 154,000 needles that are unaccounted for every month. 40:03.120 --> 40:05.120 I mean, how would you like to walk down the street 40:05.120 --> 40:11.120 and there's just used needles from people shooting up heroin, you know, in between all the other stuff? 40:11.120 --> 40:14.120 I spent countless hours picking up needles. 40:14.120 --> 40:21.120 In Boston, an angry father brought a bucket full of needles from a Roxbury playground to a community meeting. 40:21.120 --> 40:26.120 I found a fully loaded needle that had about five cc's full of heroin. 40:26.120 --> 40:30.120 Those who've been through it say getting pricked is a living nightmare. 40:30.120 --> 40:33.120 I had a number of shots. 40:33.120 --> 40:39.120 Bobby Rowland stuck by a syringe someone threw out a car window in South Boston several years ago. 40:39.120 --> 40:41.120 I was worried for a long time. 40:41.120 --> 40:43.120 And what were you worried about? What were you thinking? 40:43.120 --> 40:47.120 What happens if this guy had AIDS or something like that? 40:47.120 --> 40:50.120 HIV, when they have tested it in the environmental surfaces, 40:50.120 --> 40:54.120 it can actually live in dry blood spots for five or six days. 40:54.120 --> 40:57.120 Brittany Jones, who says as a result of her run-in with a needle, 40:57.120 --> 41:01.120 quote, I am currently on harsh medication treatment for HIV prevention, 41:01.120 --> 41:06.120 which leaves me nearly bedridden for 28 days, unable to work, 41:06.120 --> 41:11.120 and having to wait three to six months to find out if I've contracted any disease from the needle. 41:12.120 --> 41:18.120 Because I'm here to tell you that drugs and alcohol create a filthy environment. 41:18.120 --> 41:22.120 Morrison took the I-Team to an abandoned homeless camp in Lowell. 41:22.120 --> 41:25.120 These needles will float. They'll start floating. 41:25.120 --> 41:30.120 Countless syringes. More than 1,340 needles near the river, 41:30.120 --> 41:36.120 spilling all the river's problems into the Atlantic Ocean near Plum Island and Salisbury Beach. 41:36.120 --> 41:38.120 And they end up on a shoreline. 41:38.120 --> 41:43.120 A local family contacted 10 News after their trip to Ocean Beach turned scary. 41:43.120 --> 41:49.120 The Allen family's five-year-old was poked by a dirty hypodermic needle while she was playing in the sand. 41:49.120 --> 41:56.120 And as 10 News reporter Maria Arcegadon learned, this is not the first time this has happened at that beach. 41:56.120 --> 42:00.120 Beach goers are being reminded to watch out for hypodermic needles in the sand. 42:00.120 --> 42:03.120 Earlier this month, a girl stepped on a needle at Hampton Beach. 42:03.120 --> 42:07.120 She was treated by lifeguards, then driven by her parents to the hospital. 42:07.120 --> 42:10.120 It was the fourth needle found on the beach this summer. 42:10.120 --> 42:17.120 A six-year-old boy picks up this bloody hypodermic needle, and as you can see, it is filled with some sort of liquid. 42:17.120 --> 42:20.120 Tonight, his father is worried about his child's health. 42:20.120 --> 42:22.120 You've got to start paying attention to the ground, okay? 42:22.120 --> 42:23.120 Okay. 42:23.120 --> 42:26.120 Kim Davenport is Anilah's mom and often walks her to school. 42:26.120 --> 42:31.120 It's not safe. It's not healthy. Feces on the ground. Needles. 42:31.120 --> 42:34.120 You've actually had to pull her out of the way to keep her sedated. 42:34.120 --> 42:36.120 Yes, of course. I just had to do that this morning. 42:36.120 --> 42:44.120 They're telling me drug needles on the street and human feces is costing the city roughly about $30 million a year. 42:44.120 --> 42:46.120 Hey, Kevin, this is Hutzputz. 42:46.120 --> 42:51.120 It's a dirty job that Neuru says eats away at about half his street cleaning budget. 42:51.120 --> 42:58.120 In a city, in a home, in a business, they create mess and filth. 42:58.120 --> 43:02.120 Disturbing images of heroin use and homelessness in broad daylight. 43:02.120 --> 43:10.120 A Fed Up Deli owner says this is what is outside his shop every day, and now he's challenging the mayor to do something about it. 43:10.120 --> 43:14.120 Open drug use has exploded in San Francisco in recent years, 43:14.120 --> 43:21.120 and raging residents who complain of having to step over people injecting heroin in train stations. 43:21.120 --> 43:27.120 On a recent part ride of my own, I sat down, looked across the aisle to see a seat full of needles. 43:27.120 --> 43:32.120 So I snapped a picture and asked a simple question. How do we address this problem? 43:32.120 --> 43:40.120 This is the logic, though, today that says, oh, let's just give all the young people contraceptives in school so that they can do it safely. 43:40.120 --> 43:44.120 Or, oh, let's just teach people how to use alcohol responsibly. 43:44.120 --> 43:52.120 Let's just teach people how to use, let's give them a safe space where they can shoot up drugs in a supervised facility. 43:52.120 --> 44:00.120 I want to give you a tour inside what would be the nation's first safe injection drug site if this is eventually open. 44:00.120 --> 44:06.120 Right now this is just a prototype. You walk in, you'd be able to wash your hands before going to this supply center. 44:06.120 --> 44:16.120 They have basically everything that a drug user would need and several different sizes of syringes so people can take their pick. 44:16.120 --> 44:19.120 And then also some supplies home where you can put in turnips. 44:19.120 --> 44:20.120 Oh, it's that. 44:20.120 --> 44:21.120 No, it's the paniquete. 44:21.120 --> 44:27.120 You want to help find a vein that's good enough to be able to warm up your heroin. 44:27.120 --> 44:29.120 Warm up your heroin. 44:29.120 --> 44:33.120 Let's give them clean needles so that they can do heroin. 44:33.120 --> 44:37.120 You know, we can't make provision for the flesh to fulfill the lust thereof. 44:37.120 --> 44:45.120 You know, we can't just sit there and have a culture that accommodates people's sins, accommodates people's filthy lives off, and makes it easy for them. 44:45.120 --> 44:50.120 No, you know, it should be hard for them to sin. It should be hard for them to shoot up here. 44:50.120 --> 44:54.120 Why would we want to help them do that? Because you know what message you're sending? You're just giving a green light. 44:54.120 --> 44:55.120 Like, go ahead and do it. 44:55.120 --> 45:01.120 You're not even helping them. You are, look, giving drugs to a drug addict makes them worse. 45:01.120 --> 45:04.120 Giving alcohol to a drunk makes them worse. 45:04.120 --> 45:07.120 You know, how are they ever going to hit rock bottom? 45:07.120 --> 45:11.120 How are they ever going to be like the prodigal son where no man gave unto him? 45:11.120 --> 45:15.120 That's when he went back to the father's house and got right with God. 45:15.120 --> 45:19.120 You know, when you tell the young people, well, it's best if you practice abstinence. 45:19.120 --> 45:24.120 But hint, hint, wink, wink, nod, nod. If you do, here you go. 45:24.120 --> 45:26.120 Here's what you need. Here's how you can do it safely. 45:26.120 --> 45:30.120 Here's a contraceptive. No, it's abstinence. 45:30.120 --> 45:32.120 It's abstain from fornication. 45:32.120 --> 45:35.120 It's wait until you're married and keep yourself pure. 45:35.120 --> 45:43.120 We're not going to bend over backwards to try to make it easy for people to fornicate and do drugs and get to know you just need to stop doing it. 45:43.120 --> 45:48.120 We need preachers to get up and preach hard against these sins and rip some face. 45:48.120 --> 45:56.120 And we need a society that frowns on it and shames people that are on drugs and says, oh, you're addicted. 45:56.120 --> 45:58.120 I got to be ashamed of yourself. 45:58.120 --> 46:01.120 Get right with God. Are you fornicated? 46:01.120 --> 46:03.120 That's harlotry. That's whoredom. 46:03.120 --> 46:07.120 What a shame. Get right with God. Repent of that wickedness. 46:07.120 --> 46:11.120 But instead, it's like, well, you know, we've got to got to help these people out. 46:11.120 --> 46:18.120 Moving on. These stations are where people would be able to shoot up and basically be left alone. 46:18.120 --> 46:20.120 But you see these mirrors here. 46:20.120 --> 46:30.120 That is where trained medical personnel would be able to observe them while they're doing so to make sure that they're not having any sort of medical emergency and overdose. 46:30.120 --> 46:35.120 And they have antidotes for heroin overdoses here on hand, as well as oxygen tanks. 46:35.120 --> 46:40.120 I want to show you this. This is in case a drug user wants a little bit of privacy for some. 46:40.120 --> 46:43.120 They're shooting up in the eye, which means they're dropping their pants. 46:43.120 --> 46:49.120 There's also a spot here if they would prefer to lay down while they do their drugs. 46:49.120 --> 46:52.120 So people spend about a half an hour in this area. 46:52.120 --> 46:59.120 And then they have a chance to come over here, which basically is all of our media equipment, a chill out room where you can. 47:00.120 --> 47:06.120 Enjoy your high, apparently. Enjoy your high, apparently. Enjoy your high, apparently. 47:06.120 --> 47:17.120 But this is also a place where people might be encouraged to find services that promoters of this may say that this is where they're able to sort of form a community. 47:17.120 --> 47:21.120 And hopefully, with the end goal of getting some of these folks into treatment. 47:21.120 --> 47:26.120 Again, this is not legal in California right now. It's not legal in the United States. 47:26.120 --> 47:33.120 San Francisco looking for a special exemption that could allow this. And that bill is on the governor's desk. 47:33.120 --> 47:38.120 Well, what happens with that liberal, soft, bleeding heart philosophy? 47:38.120 --> 47:44.120 Well, you end up living in San Francisco, California, where you can't walk down the street without drugs and feces everywhere. 47:44.120 --> 47:49.120 It has been said that as goes California, so goes the country. 47:49.120 --> 47:54.120 And if this is where the rest of the nation is headed, then we are in serious trouble. 47:54.120 --> 48:03.120 One point two million. That's how many free syringes the SafePoint Syringe Access Program says it handed out last year just in Columbus. 48:03.120 --> 48:07.120 That averages out to more than 100,000 syringes every month. 48:07.120 --> 48:10.120 Not everyone is a fan of the needle exchange program. 48:10.120 --> 48:14.120 Ronald's police chief says that the program will make it easier for addicts to break the law. 48:14.120 --> 48:20.120 There, meanwhile, all new at five, we have the first look inside a new syringe exchange unit in northern Kentucky. 48:21.120 --> 48:28.120 For all the syringes that we distribute, we actually get back approximately 96 percent of all those syringes. 48:28.120 --> 48:37.120 The state gives syringes to around 20,000 people in the state, but could not tell us exactly how many syringes they give out every year. 48:37.120 --> 48:42.120 Florida lawmakers just approving a bill that lets communities create needle exchange programs. 48:42.120 --> 48:46.120 Right now, Miami is the only city here in Florida that has one. 48:46.120 --> 48:50.120 But as ABC Action News reporter Jake Peterson shows us, others are looking at the option. 48:50.120 --> 48:56.120 A bill that would legalize needle exchange programs in Arizona is now headed to the state senate. 48:56.120 --> 49:01.120 Denver's needle exchange program is providing a safe place for drug users to get clean supplies. 49:01.120 --> 49:04.120 However, it's not without its controversy. 49:17.120 --> 49:22.120 Try this on. 30 percent of the homeless in San Francisco are openly sodomites. 49:22.120 --> 49:26.120 30 percent are openly sodomites. 49:26.120 --> 49:33.120 So you walk down the streets of San Francisco and you have all these aggressive, violent bums and homeless people accosting you. 49:33.120 --> 49:37.120 Just remember that about one third of them are openly sodomite. 49:37.120 --> 49:41.120 But that brings me to point number three, which is the dog. 49:41.120 --> 49:45.120 And I don't mean the four-legged kind of dogs, but I mean sodomites. 49:45.120 --> 49:48.120 The Bible calls sodomites dogs. 49:48.120 --> 49:52.120 Yeah, I just want to say, anti-homosexual. 49:52.120 --> 49:54.120 I hope your kids turn out to be gay. 49:54.120 --> 49:56.120 And you can deal with that. 49:56.120 --> 49:59.120 I actually pray that they're gay. 49:59.120 --> 50:03.120 Call yourself a Christian church, meanwhile hating gays. 50:03.120 --> 50:06.120 You're judging all the people. 50:06.120 --> 50:08.120 You're going to hell anyways. 50:08.120 --> 50:09.120 You're trash. 50:09.120 --> 50:12.120 And I really hope that you die. 50:12.120 --> 50:16.120 So keep judging you, stupid, retarded cunt. 50:16.120 --> 50:20.120 Hope you die a low and paid death. 50:20.120 --> 50:22.120 Have a great day. 50:22.120 --> 50:26.120 Bless our new founding fathers. 50:28.120 --> 50:31.120 This is a passage for you to answer in the members of this church. 50:31.120 --> 50:33.120 Why do you hate gays? 50:33.120 --> 50:35.120 Come on, answer that. 50:35.120 --> 50:37.120 It's not a tough question here. 50:37.120 --> 50:40.120 Are you dumb? Are you stupid? 50:40.120 --> 50:44.120 Well, your guys are f******, that's why you want to follow them around. 50:44.120 --> 50:47.120 I guess that makes you a f****** prick too. 50:47.120 --> 50:51.120 You're a piece of s**** and no one knows it. 50:51.120 --> 50:54.120 Except for the idiot members you have in your church. 50:54.120 --> 50:59.120 You idiot members of the church this time, you're all but nothing but sheep. 50:59.120 --> 51:02.120 That's what you are. 51:02.120 --> 51:05.120 And the pastor hands you to the kids, do whatever the f****** wants. 51:05.120 --> 51:09.120 Just remember, your kids are in the long run. 51:09.120 --> 51:11.120 By the way, have a nice day in hell. 51:39.120 --> 51:42.120 I'm going to be a little bit of a wimp. 51:42.120 --> 51:45.120 I'm going to be a little bit of a wimp. 51:45.120 --> 51:48.120 I'm going to be a little bit of a wimp. 51:48.120 --> 51:51.120 I'm going to be a little bit of a wimp. 51:51.120 --> 51:54.120 I'm going to be a little bit of a wimp. 51:54.120 --> 51:57.120 I'm going to be a little bit of a wimp. 51:57.120 --> 52:00.120 I'm going to be a little bit of a wimp. 52:00.120 --> 52:03.120 I'm going to be a little bit of a wimp. 52:03.120 --> 52:06.120 I'm going to be a little bit of a wimp. 52:06.120 --> 52:09.120 He had to burn up all the ashes because he had to burn up all the pathogens. 52:09.120 --> 52:12.120 He had to burn up all the germs. 52:12.120 --> 52:15.120 He had to burn up all the disease. 52:15.120 --> 52:18.120 He had to use fire just so that the whole place wouldn't be contaminated. 52:18.120 --> 52:21.120 That is an example to those that after should live ungodly. 52:21.120 --> 52:24.120 Don't tell me that's how God was back then. 52:24.120 --> 52:27.120 Because I don't know about you, but when I'm in 2 Peter, I'm pretty close to the end of my Bible. 52:27.120 --> 52:30.120 How dispensational do you want to get? 52:30.120 --> 52:33.120 I mean, we're at the end of the book and he says, 52:33.120 --> 52:36.120 Remember Sodom and Gomorrah from back in Genesis? 52:36.120 --> 52:39.120 It's the same thing in 2 Peter. 52:39.120 --> 52:42.120 That is the example. You say, well, you know, 52:42.120 --> 52:45.120 how would Jesus treat these homos? 52:45.120 --> 52:48.120 Okay, well, what's the example that he gave? 52:48.120 --> 52:51.120 Show me an example in the Bible of how Jesus treated homos. 52:51.120 --> 52:54.120 Well, I look at Matthew, I can't find it. 52:54.120 --> 52:57.120 I didn't find it in Mark. I didn't find it in Luke. 52:57.120 --> 53:00.120 I didn't find it in John. You know what? 53:00.120 --> 53:03.120 That's the example. It's in Genesis chapter 19. 53:03.120 --> 53:06.120 That's the example. 53:06.120 --> 53:09.120 To those that after should live ungodly. 53:09.120 --> 53:12.120 And again, we're told today that, oh, let's just fill our church 53:12.120 --> 53:15.120 with fornicators and sodomites 53:15.120 --> 53:18.120 and, you know, people who refuse to work and everything. 53:18.120 --> 53:21.120 Yeah, that's great because it's all about reaching people. 53:21.120 --> 53:24.120 You know, what Bible are you reading? 53:24.120 --> 53:27.120 By the way, 25% of the homeless are already registered sex offenders. 53:27.120 --> 53:30.120 There's over a thousand registered sex offenders 53:30.120 --> 53:33.120 on the streets of Skid Row. 53:33.120 --> 53:36.120 Andy Bale is the CEO of the Union Rescue Mission 53:36.120 --> 53:39.120 in the epicenter of Skid Row. 53:39.120 --> 53:42.120 His life's work is saving lives here. 53:42.120 --> 53:45.120 People get beaten, women get raped. 53:45.120 --> 53:48.120 It's just a brutal environment. 53:48.120 --> 53:51.120 Sex offender just roaming the streets of Phoenix 53:51.120 --> 53:54.120 with no address for police to check in on him. 53:54.120 --> 53:57.120 So how exactly can this be? 53:57.120 --> 54:00.120 Only ABC 15's Lexi Souter is getting answers for you. 54:00.120 --> 54:03.120 And Lexi, I can only imagine people in that area 54:03.120 --> 54:06.120 are not very happy about this. 54:06.120 --> 54:09.120 Yeah, they're very concerned, and I want to show you why here. 54:09.120 --> 54:12.120 This man convicted of rape and kidnapping. 54:12.120 --> 54:15.120 Now, all we know about him, though, is he's a transient 54:15.120 --> 54:18.120 in the area of 11th Street and Indian Skid Row. 54:18.120 --> 54:21.120 And you know what? The Bible says that the righteous man 54:21.120 --> 54:24.120 just ignores the cause of the poor. 54:24.120 --> 54:27.120 It doesn't say the righteous man just gives all his money 54:27.120 --> 54:30.120 to every registered sex offender standing by the side of the road 54:30.120 --> 54:33.120 with a sign that says, anything helps, God bless. 54:33.120 --> 54:36.120 You know, the most wrathful book in the Bible 54:36.120 --> 54:39.120 is the book of Revelation. I mean, where are you going to find 54:39.120 --> 54:42.120 the most hellfire and damnation in the whole Bible? 54:42.120 --> 54:45.120 It's not in the Old Testament. It's in the book of Revelation. 54:45.120 --> 54:48.120 The last book in the Bible, you know, it's in the future. 54:48.120 --> 54:51.120 So don't tell me it's outdated. It hasn't even happened yet. 54:51.120 --> 54:54.120 Folks, that's an example to those that would afterward 54:54.120 --> 54:57.120 follow that filthy lifestyle. 54:57.120 --> 55:00.120 You know, anyone who lives in San Francisco 55:00.120 --> 55:03.120 should be scared to death that God's not about to just wipe it out, 55:03.120 --> 55:06.120 especially since he's sitting on this fault line of an earthquake. 55:06.120 --> 55:09.120 God someday is going to wipe that place out. 55:18.120 --> 55:21.120 San Francisco is a city that's been left underground, 55:21.120 --> 55:24.120 leaving 300,000 people homeless and killing nearly 3,000. 55:24.120 --> 55:27.120 You know, what makes San Francisco such a filthy place? 55:27.120 --> 55:30.120 Why do you say, woe unto the filthy city? 55:30.120 --> 55:33.120 Well, number one, it's covered in dung. 55:33.120 --> 55:36.120 I mean, that's what makes it a filthy city. 55:36.120 --> 55:39.120 There's human waste everywhere. 55:39.120 --> 55:42.120 303 piles in 20 miles. 55:42.120 --> 55:45.120 San Francisco was built by street people. 55:45.120 --> 55:48.120 Now people are taking a crap in the street. 55:48.120 --> 55:51.120 You walk a few hundred feet and you step in human excrement. 55:51.120 --> 55:54.120 Number two, it's the drugs. 55:54.120 --> 55:57.120 What makes it a filthy city? 55:57.120 --> 56:00.120 I mean, when you're walking down the street and people are just laying in the street, 56:00.120 --> 56:03.120 shooting up heroin openly, when you have to dodge hypodermic needles. 56:03.120 --> 56:06.120 You know, I'm pretty big on running barefoot. 56:06.120 --> 56:09.120 I don't think I would even have the guts to run barefoot through San Francisco. 56:09.120 --> 56:12.120 Now, I've run barefoot through Los Angeles. 56:12.120 --> 56:17.120 I've run barefoot through Broken Glass, but I'm not going to run barefoot through San Francisco, California. 56:17.120 --> 56:20.120 Can you imagine the bacteria? 56:20.120 --> 56:23.120 But can you imagine looking down and you feel that sharp twinge 56:23.120 --> 56:27.120 and you have some hypodermic needle from some sodomite homeless drug user 56:27.120 --> 56:30.120 hanging out of your foot? 56:30.120 --> 56:33.120 Oh man, forget that. You know, I'll buy all the Nikes 56:33.120 --> 56:36.120 and forget everything I ever told you about barefoot running 56:36.120 --> 56:39.120 if you live in San Francisco, alright? 56:39.120 --> 56:44.120 Let's take a closer look at some statistics and incidence rates of STDs in San Francisco. 56:44.120 --> 56:49.120 Studies suggest that STD incidence rates are on the rise throughout California. 56:49.120 --> 56:55.120 But according to a survey from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from 2013, 56:55.120 --> 56:59.120 STD rates are two to three times higher in San Francisco 56:59.120 --> 57:03.120 than in any of the other cities of the Bay Area. 57:03.120 --> 57:05.120 I can't figure out why. 57:05.120 --> 57:08.120 It must be that discrimination that's going on in San Francisco. 57:08.120 --> 57:10.120 Or that lack of information. 57:10.120 --> 57:14.120 If you're smart, you'll keep away from prostitutes and pickups. 57:14.120 --> 57:17.120 Most of them have syphilis or gonorrhea. 57:17.120 --> 57:21.120 They're not safe. And they can't be made safe. 57:21.120 --> 57:25.120 A record number of cases of chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis 57:25.120 --> 57:27.120 diagnosed in California last year. 57:27.120 --> 57:32.120 More than 300,000 people tested positive for the sexually transmitted diseases. 57:32.120 --> 57:36.120 30 babies were stillborn due to congenital syphilis. 57:36.120 --> 57:38.120 STDs are often treated as untreated. 57:38.120 --> 57:43.120 STDs can have serious long-term effects including infertility and vision loss. 57:43.120 --> 57:47.120 And guess what? The city with the least homos was Birmingham. 57:47.120 --> 57:49.120 What was number two? 57:49.120 --> 57:50.120 Pittsburgh. 57:50.120 --> 57:51.120 Pittsburgh, alright. 57:51.120 --> 57:55.120 Number three was Memphis. And number four was San Jose. 57:55.120 --> 58:01.120 Did you hear that? San Jose, California has one of the lowest amounts of homos. 58:01.120 --> 58:02.120 It's in the same area. 58:02.120 --> 58:04.120 I mean, you know, San Francisco is up on the peninsula. 58:04.120 --> 58:09.120 It's a far away. In San Jose, California, which is also a big bustling city. 58:09.120 --> 58:10.120 It's packed with people. 58:10.120 --> 58:15.120 But isn't it interesting that they have half the homos. 58:15.120 --> 58:17.120 They have way less STDs. 58:17.120 --> 58:24.120 I wonder if there's a connection between homos and STDs. 58:24.120 --> 58:26.120 And HIV is not the death sentence it once was. 58:26.120 --> 58:31.120 You would live reasonably well with the condition, but medical expenses may prove expensive. 58:31.120 --> 58:37.120 Intervenous drug users and homosexuals and homosexuals and homosexuals and homosexuals are more likely to become infected 58:37.120 --> 58:42.120 with over 80% of cases involving gay sex or the sharing of dirty needles. 58:42.120 --> 58:50.120 I wonder if there could possibly be a connection between feces in the street and a dirty city. 58:50.120 --> 58:55.120 He looks out now and he too is scared. He too is outraged. 58:55.120 --> 58:56.120 This is real. 58:56.120 --> 58:59.120 Yeah, it's real. And, you know, who knows? 58:59.120 --> 59:02.120 This is like a Petri dish for disease. 59:02.120 --> 59:09.120 He knows while delivering water to the people he serves, he contracted staph, E. coli and strep. 59:09.120 --> 59:12.120 It cost him his leg. 59:12.120 --> 59:16.120 And the lost souls on the streets below have no idea what they're up against. 59:16.120 --> 59:21.120 I mean, is it a life or death situation? No. 59:21.120 --> 59:24.120 I mean, it's just a part of life being sick. 59:24.120 --> 59:28.120 It's been easy enough for most people to ignore the plight of Skid Row. 59:28.120 --> 59:32.120 On Alvarado Street, a man walks out into traffic to avoid the filth. 59:32.120 --> 59:39.120 At Venice Beach, called the new Skid Row by some, tents and the things that come with them are on full display. 59:39.120 --> 59:44.120 I mean, folks, wake up. 59:44.120 --> 59:49.120 Pastor Anderson is not the one that's crazy. It's not Jason Robinson that's crazy. 59:49.120 --> 59:52.120 It's not Roger Jimenez that's crazy. 59:52.120 --> 59:56.120 You know what? It's these people that have forsaken God's laws. 59:56.120 --> 59:59.120 They don't want Leviticus. They don't want Deuteronomy. 59:59.120 --> 01:00:02.120 They didn't just throw out the morality. They threw out the sanitation. 01:00:02.120 --> 01:00:07.120 This ruck a dead raccoon in McDonald's. 01:00:07.120 --> 01:00:10.120 Look at this. 01:00:10.120 --> 01:00:15.120 This ruck got rabies like this. 01:00:15.120 --> 01:00:21.120 This ruck crazy. They ain't gonna bring it in there where the food at. 01:00:21.120 --> 01:00:30.120 This ruck with the raccoon on the table. 01:00:30.120 --> 01:00:35.120 He's coming up. This ruck is on the table. 01:00:35.120 --> 01:00:38.120 And he's getting up leaving now. 01:00:38.120 --> 01:00:40.120 Look at this. 01:00:40.120 --> 01:00:44.120 Look, he's leaving now. 01:00:44.120 --> 01:00:49.120 Look at this. 01:00:49.120 --> 01:00:55.120 Wow. Bring a dead raccoon in the McDonald's. 01:00:55.120 --> 01:00:58.120 Gil DeSarnia is a business owner in the city of San Francisco. 01:00:58.120 --> 01:01:04.120 He says he's thinking of abandoning San Francisco after he was bitten twice by vagrants. 01:01:04.120 --> 01:01:07.120 He joins us tonight. Gil, thanks very much for coming on. 01:01:07.120 --> 01:01:13.120 It's hard to believe this is even real. This is like a Dawn of the Dead scene. 01:01:13.120 --> 01:01:16.120 You were bitten. Tell us the circumstances. 01:01:16.120 --> 01:01:21.120 Well, the last event, there was a guy who came in and we asked him to leave. 01:01:21.120 --> 01:01:26.120 And he left and he came back 15 minutes later to harass the employee. 01:01:26.120 --> 01:01:31.120 And he hit somebody and it got really violent. 01:01:31.120 --> 01:01:37.120 Some of the staff subdued him and we tried to call the police to have them intervene and arrest him. 01:01:37.120 --> 01:01:39.120 And in the process, he decided to bite me. 01:01:39.120 --> 01:01:42.120 And one of the statements he made was, why are you even calling the police? 01:01:42.120 --> 01:01:45.120 They're not going to do anything. They're just going to let me go. 01:01:45.120 --> 01:01:48.120 I remember one time I was in San Francisco. This was like 20 years ago. 01:01:48.120 --> 01:01:50.120 It wasn't even as bad as it is now. 01:01:50.120 --> 01:01:58.120 And I walked down San Francisco's street as a teenager and a bum just hurled an empty glass bottle. 01:01:58.120 --> 01:02:01.120 And it just exploded like 10 feet from me. 01:02:01.120 --> 01:02:06.120 You know, it kind of startling having somebody throw a bottle that near you and just explode. 01:02:06.120 --> 01:02:10.120 And I looked at the guy and the guy just gave me a look like, what are you going to do? 01:02:10.120 --> 01:02:14.120 This is the way the bums are. You know, they'll throw something at you and then just, 01:02:14.120 --> 01:02:16.120 what are you going to do about it? 01:02:16.120 --> 01:02:23.120 The most disheartening manifestation of homelessness is the daily exhibition of mentally ill people 01:02:23.120 --> 01:02:31.120 screaming at the sky, tearing at themselves, and otherwise behaving beyond their own control. 01:02:31.120 --> 01:02:39.120 Now, listen to me, thou Bible-believing Christian, screaming at the sky, tearing at themselves, 01:02:39.120 --> 01:02:41.120 and behaving beyond their control. 01:02:41.120 --> 01:02:43.120 I wonder, what do you think's wrong with these people? 01:02:43.120 --> 01:02:48.120 Why do things go, I don't know. I don't know what the problem is. They're demon possessed. 01:02:58.120 --> 01:03:01.120 This isn't a bad car accident or a gunshot wound. 01:03:02.120 --> 01:03:06.120 So this guy just arrived. He's completely naked, wrapped in his sheet. 01:03:06.120 --> 01:03:08.120 There's a huge medical team taking care of this patient right now. 01:03:08.120 --> 01:03:12.120 He was just running through the streets. His heart rate is dangerously elevated right now. 01:03:14.120 --> 01:03:17.120 911, what is your emergency? 01:03:17.120 --> 01:03:24.120 I'm going to the detox mode right now. He got my money. And I want my drugs. Can you get our office at him? 01:03:24.120 --> 01:03:29.120 When people get high, it can get scary. Some run through the streets naked. 01:03:29.120 --> 01:03:32.120 Others climb fences and get seriously injured. 01:03:32.120 --> 01:03:35.120 One man seen here trying to break into a police station. 01:03:35.120 --> 01:03:40.120 People think that they're being chased, they're being shot at. The devil is chasing them. 01:03:40.120 --> 01:03:45.120 Why are they screaming at the sky? Who are they screaming at? The Lord. 01:03:45.120 --> 01:03:48.120 They hate God. They're screaming at God himself. 01:03:48.120 --> 01:03:51.120 Shouting to the sky, screaming at the sky. 01:03:51.120 --> 01:03:53.120 Look at Mark 9 verse 17. 01:03:54.120 --> 01:03:56.120 And one of the multitude answered and said, 01:03:56.120 --> 01:04:00.120 Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit. 01:04:00.120 --> 01:04:02.120 And wheresoever he taketh him, he what? 01:04:02.120 --> 01:04:04.120 Teareth him. 01:04:04.120 --> 01:04:06.120 So this guy's trying to get the money. 01:04:06.120 --> 01:04:07.120 And he taketh him, he what? 01:04:07.120 --> 01:04:09.120 Teareth him. 01:04:09.120 --> 01:04:11.120 So this guy's tearing himself. 01:04:11.120 --> 01:04:13.120 And he foameth. 01:04:13.120 --> 01:04:15.120 He's foaming at the mouth. 01:04:15.120 --> 01:04:17.120 Nasheth with his teeth, and pineeth away. 01:04:17.120 --> 01:04:21.120 And I spake to thy disciples, that they should cast him out, and they could not. 01:04:21.120 --> 01:04:26.120 He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? 01:04:26.120 --> 01:04:28.120 How long shall I suffer you? Bring him unto me. 01:04:28.120 --> 01:04:32.120 And they brought him unto him, and when he saw him, straightway the spirit? 01:04:33.120 --> 01:04:34.120 Tear him. 01:04:34.120 --> 01:04:40.120 Isn't it interesting that the newspaper article uses the exact same wording that the Bible keeps using 01:04:40.120 --> 01:04:43.120 about these demonic people that they're tearing themselves 01:04:43.120 --> 01:04:48.120 as they yell at the sky and behave beyond their own control. 01:04:49.120 --> 01:04:53.120 It says he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming. 01:04:53.120 --> 01:04:57.120 And this is exactly what you're going to see if you look on YouTube 01:04:57.120 --> 01:05:04.120 all the videos of these violent, aggressive, wild, insane homeless people 01:05:04.120 --> 01:05:07.120 roaming the streets of San Francisco, California. 01:05:07.120 --> 01:05:10.120 In fact, one person described San Francisco, California 01:05:10.120 --> 01:05:15.120 as the world's largest outdoor unsupervised mental institution. 01:05:16.120 --> 01:05:25.120 If you're going to San Francisco, be sure to download the app that tells you where all the poop is. 01:05:26.120 --> 01:05:31.120 You know, cause in the streets of San Francisco, 01:05:31.120 --> 01:05:38.120 it's the world's largest outdoor unsupervised mental institution. 01:05:40.120 --> 01:05:44.120 I'm pretty much done talking about San Francisco, but I think I've made my point. 01:05:44.120 --> 01:05:49.120 I think you get the picture of why I say that San Francisco is the perfect example 01:05:49.120 --> 01:05:55.120 of a city that turns away from God, rejects the Lord, rejects the commandments of God, 01:05:55.120 --> 01:05:57.120 doesn't want hard preaching. 01:05:57.120 --> 01:06:00.120 I mean, show me one red hot soul winning church in San Francisco, California. 01:06:00.120 --> 01:06:02.120 I don't know. I don't think it's out there. 01:06:02.120 --> 01:06:04.120 So what's the answer? What's the answer tonight? 01:06:04.120 --> 01:06:07.120 Here's the answer. It's very simple. 01:06:07.120 --> 01:06:10.120 Be clean, abstain from drugs and alcohol. 01:06:10.120 --> 01:06:11.120 Let me add one that's not my notes. 01:06:11.120 --> 01:06:18.120 Go to work, get a job, stay busy working, remain pure, 01:06:18.120 --> 01:06:24.120 and put the sodomites out of the land, which obviously we don't have the power to put them all the way out of West Virginia 01:06:24.120 --> 01:06:27.120 or all the way out of Arizona, but you know, at least put them out of the church, 01:06:27.120 --> 01:06:33.120 put them out of your social life, and just when you see them, just stay away from the best of your ability. 01:06:33.120 --> 01:06:35.120 Why? You don't want the germs. 01:06:35.120 --> 01:06:39.120 Do you think it's a coincidence that the most homo city is the dirtiest city in America, 01:06:39.120 --> 01:06:43.120 where people are now saying it's worse than a third world country? 01:06:43.120 --> 01:06:50.120 They're saying it's worse than horrible countries where there's just poverty and slums and filth. 01:06:50.120 --> 01:06:55.120 You know, places in South America and Africa, they're known for being dirt. 01:06:55.120 --> 01:06:59.120 People are saying, no, San Francisco is worse. It's more unsanitary. 01:06:59.120 --> 01:07:02.120 Do you think it's a coincidence that that's where the sodomites are? 01:07:02.120 --> 01:07:04.120 You don't want the filth. 01:07:04.120 --> 01:07:11.120 You don't want the spiritual or physical garbage that they're carrying in their bodies. 01:07:11.120 --> 01:07:12.120 Stay away from it. 01:07:12.120 --> 01:07:14.120 Spyroids never word of her. 01:07:15.120 --> 01:07:20.120 I mean, just when I thought I'd seen it all, the coup d'etat, a lotto ticket. 01:07:20.120 --> 01:07:22.120 A lotto ticket. 01:07:22.120 --> 01:07:28.120 So that's the pathway out of poverty for this derelict who refuses to work, so lazy, 01:07:28.120 --> 01:07:31.120 he can't even pick up a piece of trash. 01:07:31.120 --> 01:07:36.120 So I had to go out there this morning and go clean up all his trash. 01:07:37.120 --> 01:07:38.120 Right? 01:07:38.120 --> 01:07:41.120 But his pathway out of poverty is a lotto ticket. 01:07:42.120 --> 01:07:47.120 One of these days, he's going to win big and then he'll never have to work again. 01:07:47.120 --> 01:07:48.120 You lazy fool! 01:07:48.120 --> 01:07:51.120 Only lazy people never want to work again. 01:07:51.120 --> 01:07:53.120 I want to work for the rest of my life! 01:07:55.120 --> 01:07:58.120 I was born to work. God created me to work. 01:07:59.120 --> 01:08:04.120 I want to work six days a week for the rest of my life, till I die. 01:08:05.120 --> 01:08:07.120 This is crazy. 01:08:07.120 --> 01:08:11.120 I tell you, only in San Francisco. 01:08:11.120 --> 01:08:14.120 Only in San Francisco. 01:08:16.120 --> 01:08:18.120 The Bible is really clear on salvation. 01:08:18.120 --> 01:08:20.120 It's not based on how good you are. 01:08:20.120 --> 01:08:23.120 A lot of people think they're pretty good, you know, and yeah, they're going to get to heaven 01:08:23.120 --> 01:08:27.120 because they're pretty good, but the Bible says, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. 01:08:27.120 --> 01:08:31.120 The Bible says that. It is written, there is none righteous, no, not one. 01:08:31.120 --> 01:08:33.120 I'm not righteous. You're not righteous. 01:08:33.120 --> 01:08:37.120 And if it were our goodness that would get us into heaven, none of us would be going. 01:08:41.120 --> 01:08:44.120 Because the Bible even says in Revelation 21, 8, it says, 01:08:44.120 --> 01:08:49.120 but the fearful and unbelieving and the abominable and murderers and sorcerers and whoremongers and idolaters, 01:08:49.120 --> 01:08:54.120 and listen to this, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, 01:08:54.120 --> 01:08:56.120 which is the second death. 01:08:56.120 --> 01:08:58.120 I've lied before. Everybody's lied before. 01:08:58.120 --> 01:09:02.120 So we've all sinned and we've done stuff worse than lying, let's face it. 01:09:02.120 --> 01:09:04.120 We all deserve hell. 01:09:07.120 --> 01:09:10.120 But the Bible says, but God commanded his love toward us, 01:09:10.120 --> 01:09:14.120 in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 01:09:14.120 --> 01:09:18.120 And so Jesus Christ, because he loves us, came to this earth. 01:09:18.120 --> 01:09:20.120 The Bible says he was God manifest in the flesh. 01:09:20.120 --> 01:09:24.120 God basically took on human form. He lived a sinless life. 01:09:24.120 --> 01:09:26.120 He did not commit any sin. 01:09:26.120 --> 01:09:29.120 And of course they beat him and spit on him and nailed him to the cross. 01:09:29.120 --> 01:09:35.120 The Bible says that when he was on that cross, he himself bare our sins in his own body on the tree. 01:09:35.120 --> 01:09:39.120 So every sin you've ever done, every sin I've ever done, it was as if Jesus had done it. 01:09:39.120 --> 01:09:41.120 He was being punished for our sins. 01:09:41.120 --> 01:09:46.120 And then of course they took his body when he died, they took his body and buried it in the tomb. 01:09:46.120 --> 01:09:50.120 And his soul went down to hell for three days and three nights, Acts 2, 31. 01:09:50.120 --> 01:09:53.120 Three days later, he rose again from the dead. 01:09:53.120 --> 01:09:57.120 He showed under the disciples the holes in his hands. 01:09:57.120 --> 01:10:00.120 And the Bible's really clear that Jesus did die for everybody. 01:10:00.120 --> 01:10:06.120 It says that he died not for our sins only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 01:10:06.120 --> 01:10:08.120 But there's something that we must do to be saved. 01:10:08.120 --> 01:10:13.120 The Bible says, it has that question in Acts 16, what must I do to be saved? 01:10:13.120 --> 01:10:17.120 And they said, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved in thy house. 01:10:17.120 --> 01:10:18.120 And that's it. 01:10:18.120 --> 01:10:21.120 He didn't say join a church and you'll be saved, get baptized and you'll be saved, 01:10:21.120 --> 01:10:25.120 live a good life and you'll be saved, repent of all your sins and you'll be saved. 01:10:25.120 --> 01:10:26.120 No, he said believe. 01:10:33.120 --> 01:10:37.120 And even the most famous verse in the whole Bible that's written on the bottom, 01:10:37.120 --> 01:10:40.120 I mean the reference is written on the bottom of the cup at In-N-Out Burger. 01:10:40.120 --> 01:10:44.120 I mean it's so famous, everybody's heard of it, John 3, 16. 01:10:44.120 --> 01:10:50.120 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him 01:10:50.120 --> 01:10:53.120 should not perish but have everlasting life. 01:10:53.120 --> 01:10:55.120 And everlasting means everlasting, it means forever. 01:10:55.120 --> 01:10:59.120 And Jesus said, I give unto them eternal life and they shall never perish. 01:10:59.120 --> 01:11:01.120 Neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 01:11:01.120 --> 01:11:04.120 The Bible says in John 6, 47, verily, verily I say unto you, 01:11:04.120 --> 01:11:07.120 he that believeth on me hath everlasting life. 01:11:07.120 --> 01:11:10.120 So if you believe on Jesus Christ, the Bible says you have everlasting life. 01:11:10.120 --> 01:11:12.120 You're going to live forever. You can't lose your salvation. 01:11:12.120 --> 01:11:14.120 It's eternal, it's everlasting. 01:11:14.120 --> 01:11:17.120 Once you're saved, once you believe on him, you're saved forever 01:11:17.120 --> 01:11:20.120 and no matter what, you can never lose your salvation. 01:11:20.120 --> 01:11:25.120 Even if I were to go out and commit some awful sin, God will punish me for it on this earth. 01:11:25.120 --> 01:11:28.120 If I went out and killed somebody today, you know, God's going to make sure I get punished. 01:11:28.120 --> 01:11:31.120 I'm going to prison or far worse or the death penalty. 01:11:31.120 --> 01:11:35.120 Whatever this earth punishes me and God's going to make sure I get punished even more. 01:11:35.120 --> 01:11:39.120 But I'm not going to hell. There's nothing I can do to go to hell because I'm saved. 01:11:39.120 --> 01:11:45.120 And if I went to hell, God lied because he promised that whoever believeth in him has everlasting life. 01:11:45.120 --> 01:11:48.120 And he said, whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. 01:11:48.120 --> 01:11:53.120 That's why there are a lot of examples of people in the Bible who did some really bad stuff, yet they made it to heaven. 01:11:53.120 --> 01:11:57.120 How? Because they were so good? No, it's because they believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. 01:11:57.120 --> 01:11:58.120 Their sins are forgiven. 01:11:58.120 --> 01:12:04.120 Other people who may have lived a better life in the world's eyes, or maybe even really they lived a better life, 01:12:04.120 --> 01:12:07.120 they don't believe in Christ. They're going to have to go to hell to be punished for their sins. 01:12:14.120 --> 01:12:15.120 And let me just close on this one thought. 01:12:15.120 --> 01:12:22.120 One thing that I wanted to be sure and bring up today is that there was a question that was asked to Jesus by one of his disciples. 01:12:22.120 --> 01:12:26.120 And that question was this, are there few that be saved? 01:12:26.120 --> 01:12:30.120 That's a good question, right? I mean, are most people saved? 01:12:30.120 --> 01:12:32.120 Or is it few that are saved? 01:12:32.120 --> 01:12:35.120 Now who here thinks that most people are going to heaven? 01:12:35.120 --> 01:12:37.120 Most people in this world are going to heaven. 01:12:37.120 --> 01:12:39.120 Yeah, guess what the answer was. 01:12:39.120 --> 01:12:43.120 He said in Matthew 7, for example, he said, 01:13:01.120 --> 01:13:03.120 And then he went on to say this. 01:13:03.120 --> 01:13:04.120 He said, 01:13:27.120 --> 01:13:29.120 And so you see there are people out there. 01:13:29.120 --> 01:13:33.120 First of all, the majority of this world doesn't even claim to believe in Jesus. 01:13:33.120 --> 01:13:36.120 Thankfully, the majority of this classroom claims to believe in Jesus. 01:13:36.120 --> 01:13:39.120 But the majority of the world does not claim to believe in Jesus. 01:13:39.120 --> 01:13:46.120 But God warned that even amongst those who claim to believe in Jesus, even amongst those that call him Lord, 01:13:46.120 --> 01:13:53.120 many will be saying to him, we did all these wonderful works. Why aren't we saved? 01:13:53.120 --> 01:13:55.120 He's going to say, depart from me. I never knew. 01:13:55.120 --> 01:13:58.120 That's because salvation is not by works. 01:13:58.120 --> 01:14:03.120 And if you're trusting your own works to save you, if you think you're going to heaven because you've been baptized, 01:14:03.120 --> 01:14:06.120 or if you think you, well, I think you have to live a good life. 01:14:06.120 --> 01:14:08.120 I think you have to keep the commandments to be saved. 01:14:08.120 --> 01:14:11.120 I think you have to go to church. I think you got to turn from your sins. 01:14:11.120 --> 01:14:16.120 If you're trusting in your works, Jesus is going to say to you one day, depart from me. I never knew you. 01:14:16.120 --> 01:14:18.120 You have to have all your faith in what he did. 01:14:18.120 --> 01:14:21.120 You have to put your faith in what Jesus did on the cross. 01:14:21.120 --> 01:14:23.120 When he died for you, he's buried and rose again. 01:14:23.120 --> 01:14:25.120 That's your ticket into heaven. 01:14:25.120 --> 01:14:28.120 If you're trusting all the things, oh, I'm going to heaven because I'm such a good Christian, 01:14:28.120 --> 01:14:31.120 and I do all these wonderful things, he's going to say, depart from me. 01:14:31.120 --> 01:14:34.120 And notice what he said. Depart from me, I never knew you. 01:14:34.120 --> 01:14:39.120 Not I used to know you. Because once he knows you, remember I mentioned this earlier, it's everlasting. 01:14:39.120 --> 01:14:42.120 It's eternal. Once he knows you, you're saved forever. 01:14:42.120 --> 01:14:46.120 But he's going to say, depart from me, I never knew you. 01:14:46.120 --> 01:14:49.120 Because if you go to hell, it's because he never knew you. 01:14:49.120 --> 01:14:51.120 Because once he knows you, he knows you. 01:14:52.120 --> 01:14:55.120 It's just like my children will always be my children. 01:14:55.120 --> 01:14:58.120 When you're born again, when you're his child, you'll always be his child. 01:14:58.120 --> 01:15:00.120 You may be the black sheep of the family. 01:15:00.120 --> 01:15:04.120 You may be somebody who gets disciplined by God heavily on this earth. 01:15:04.120 --> 01:15:07.120 You can screw up your life down here, but you can't screw that up. 01:15:07.120 --> 01:15:09.120 You're saved. It's a done deal. 01:15:09.120 --> 01:15:13.120 And so that's the main thing that I wanted to present to you about the End Times. 01:15:13.120 --> 01:15:20.120 And we do have just a few minutes for questions about either salvation or about the End Times. 01:15:20.120 --> 01:15:22.120 End Times
